You might laugh, but it’s really true. Costco is my favorite place to shop. You can get such a wide variety of things and at such good prices; it’s just impossible for me to pass up. We go there more often than the ‘regular’ grocery store (which is probably a sad little fact that I shouldn’t let anyone know since there are only 2 of us in our family).

What can you buy at Costco?

To me the better question might be: what can’t you buy at Costco? We buy grocery items, of course, home electronics, DVDs & CDs, software, books by the ton, clothing, car care items, prescription medications, eye glasses & contacts, wine, Halloween candy (we are the people that give out the full-sized candy bars in our neighborhood), Christmas trees & decorations, gifts galore, musical instruments, bedding. And, even though we didn’t actually buy the kitchen sink there, we did get a lovely faucet for it.

So, you can see how far reaching my love for Costco is. Some might call it a problem but that’s only because they’ve never been there. You get inside the warehouse and you can’t help but be excited by it, at least a little.

I’ve converted several people to my way of thinking, including my mom. She was a hard sell since she loves Wal-Mart and really didn’t think that Costco could possibly have anything that Sam’s Club didn’t.  Of course after going there a few times, even she saw the light and realized there really is no place like Costco!
