   Some of the information I get off of the Costco website and some of it I get from various news outlets. You wouldn’t believe all of the Costco news articles there are. Plus, they often have information in the Costco Connection magazine about new store openings and locations that will be opening soon.

   Are you looking for information about a specific location?

   I am so glad to see that you are opening up a new store near me in Cardiff in the UK I have already got my store cards and I am raring to go. I have shopped at the Manchester and Reading stores and have thoroughly enjoyed the exprience and I hope all your new customers do too. Best of luck.

   Any word on the 35 stores that will open in 2009? I hope they get a second Iowa store somewhere in Eastern Iowa. Sure miss CA where the Costco’s are almost as ubiquitous as Starbucks.

   Hi!

   I am from the UK and was a regular at Trafford Park Costco, I loved it! I now reside in Sydney – I hear Costco are soon to open here???!!! Although Melbourne I believe will get the first Costco downunder, when / where will the Sydney store open? i live in the eastern suburubs so I imagine it will be out west given size….I eagerly await it though!

    I live in Grays Harbor County, WA heard there may be a new Costco in Cental Park, seen a lot of land clearing???? Would certainly save on gas if it did come our way instead of driving to Olympia, you would have more members as well. Live in Ocean Shores only one grocery store!!! Thanks

    I usually get my information from news stories…I do a lot of Googling and research to find the locations. In case you didn’t notice, I’ve got a Locations page where I’ve been trying to post all of the latest news on where the new locations are being planned or where they’ve opened. It’s got the latest info I could find on the expansion plans for Australia too.

    I’m in KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE and keep on hearing these rumors about a Costco coming here. Sad to hear that they are just that, rumors. Just moved here from So. Cal and there’s no doubt one would do well here in the Farragut, west Knox. area.

    Costco really has a hold on Californians! I’m the 3rd person to comment that used to live in CA and misses it so much! Well, we’ve got ONE here in Columbus, OH, but it’s so far from where I live on the East side.

    Hi, I’m a Member (13+ years), employee (just over a year), and a Costco-aholic. (HI CRAIG !!!!!!) Totally love Costco and have been thinking of changing careers and going full time with them. It truly is the best store, ever !!! We’ve bought everything from furniture, play sets, computers, TV’s and everything in between I’m also in the Texas area, Woodlands (transplant from So. Cal.), and am hoping that they will be putting one in the Woodlands area soon. I hear that is coming, hopefully within two years. Great website Kimmie. I’ll be checking back often. L8R.

    It’s is kind of amazing how many Californians absolutely love Costco. And then miss it completely when they move away. I guess there are so many out there because they took over Price Club but I was amazed on our recent SoCal trip at how many locations they have. They are everywhere! It made me a little jealous.

    Yeah, i lived in the OC, and where i lived there were literally “9″ warehouses within 20 minutes of me. There are quite a few people working here who came from CA too. I miss all the Costco’s (AND the IN-N-OUT Burgers too!!!!). I’m not a manager, so this is just what i hear, but from what i understand, after the Galleria warehouse is up and running, they will be looking at opening up in the Woodlands, i guess the sticking point is finding the right property. But since i live there, i hope its SOON!!!

    There was supposed to be a Costco opening in Saint John, NB Canada. Now everyone says no. What happened. I shop at the store in Moncton, but that is over an hour drive away. I was very excited when I heard they were coming to Saint John.

    Brandom m, you better look into it now for Rockwell. It only takes 90 days to open a Costco. Find out where the location is and see if there’s a portable trailer there.

    I haven’t seen any mention of the new Costco in Newburgh, NY. Apparently site prep began in Feb. 2009. Haven’t seen any target opening date. Anyone have any info on that?

    It finally looks like Costco New York is breaking out of the core in the burroughs.

    I’ve heard that you may be putting in a new Store in Lodi, CA 95240, and if so how soon. Iam retiring and want to continue working and would like to apply.

    Bob, if you’re looking to apply to an existing or soon to be opened Costco warehouse, you can do that online at the Costco Employment Opportunity webpage. With new locations you can start applying 12 weeks before they open.
