I’m not hugely in to makeup, that’s my sister’s domain. When I was growing up my mom would buy my sister a makeup set or brushes for Christmas every year. So, every year at this time, I feel compelled to see what the offerings are in that area when I’m out shopping. I saw this nice set of brushes and thought it would make a great gift. Then by chance I saw this excellent post on My Beauty Imprint about this brush set.
The post goes into really great detail about all of the brushes, including close up photos that allow you to see lots of detail about each individual brush. The pricing that she mentions is Canadian, however, they do have the same set in our Austin Costco for $21.99. It is just an incredible deal for nine very nice brushes and a case. Apparently, the face and body brush is filled with mineral shimmer powder in the end too; how fun. And, like she mentions, this is a great starter set for anyone and way cheaper than you’ll find comparable sets priced. If you’re looking for a new set of brushes or have someone on your gift list that this would be perfect for, you should check out this post.

This is not about cosmetics at all! But the CEO of Costco gives an interview here:

I have had an allergic reaction on my eyelids, since I started using these brushes. I believe they may be made from horse hair, or other animal hair. If you have an animal allergy, you may want to look for an entirely synthetic brush set.
