Much like for Christmas, Costco is closing early tonight at 5 pm for New Year’s Eve and will be closed tomorrow on New Year’s Day too.  So, if you have some last minute shopping to do for your festivities tonight or maybe for a special New Year’s Day meal, you’d better get over there early today.  If you’re lucky it’ll be like our shopping trip on Sunday, post-Christmas, when there were no crowds, actually not even the regular amount of shoppers for a Sunday morning.  We were amazed but after the last couple of weeks, it was a nice change to a crowd-free shopping day.  We noticed that Costco was gearing up for all of the New Year’s party shoppers though with lots and lots of champagne!  

But don’t fret, Costco will resume their normal operating hours on Friday, January 2, 2009!  Have a safe and happy New Year’s, everyone!
