Natalie - If you are a new member and did not receive your Costco Coupon book you should go to the Customer Service desk at your Costco and ask them for one. They have extras for just such occasions. Also, you should have them check your membership to make sure that you are opted-in to receive this type of mailing from Costco.

I believe that they track the coupon usage per membership number. However, I've never actually confirmed that to be true by trying to use those types of coupons more than once. It's just my belief that they track it from things that people who work there have said to me.

Does Costco track the number of coupons that you use? For example, if I use a coupon to buy a TV and the coupn says "only one per household", can I go back a few days later with another coupon and buy another TV on my account? Or, does Costco know per their computer system that I already used my coupon?

Unfortunately, Stanley, there is nothing you can do to get the $140.00 coupon savings now. However, there is a coupon that is currently valid for the Sealy "Waterbrook" mattress set (the coupon book lists the Queen size only but usually they cover other sizes too) for $100.00 off on item #332991.

I kind of agree with you, Teresa. I think this could really lead to some angry customers. Especially if they are sending coupon books to some people in the area but not others. Because if I can see people using coupons and I didn't get the coupon book and don't get those savings, well, I'm going to be upset. And that is just going to lead to people complaining to the customer service desk.

Mailing coupon books to a different set of members each month will only create bad will. I know, because I'm already a little mad about the prospect of not getting coupons when someone else might.

Differential pricing is horrible PR.

Hey Diane, thanks for all the great coupon information! If I'm an executive member will I always be mailed the coupon book? Or, will I need to go request one at the store?

Thanks!

This is an amazing website... I'm employed by this fantastic Company, and have been for the last 7 years! The coupons are now being printed on recycled paper in one of our efforts to "Go Green"! We also recycle our office paper, cardboard boxes, and shrink wrap... As for who the coupons are for: technically- if you don't receive that specific coupon book, they weren't for you. We switched to a new coupon program- we used to have 2 passport books/ year that had about 5 coupons per week for all members, then periodic Multivendor mailers- (MVM's), and Executive coupons. We are now trying out one coupon book/month- each time to a different set of members. The coupons we receive in the stores should be passed out to new members... However- as a little trick- if you ask someone that has a book for one coupon that they are not going to use- it is a master coupon and will take of the coupons on all of your items ;)...If you didn't receive a coupon book and you are an executive member- then most warehouses will give you one (until they run out)- this is just one of the perks of paying the extra $50/yr... Imagine all the money you would save- bounty, charmin, tide, pantene, crest, scope, etc are usual coupons for over $2.50 each... That $50 extra seems worth while... also you would receive a check in the mail for 2% back of your total purchases, able to get Credit monitoring for $7.95/mo, etc (check out the services page on costco.com) Just a few hints!
