I just wanted to do a really quick post to let everyone know that I’ve added a bit of new information to the Costco Locations page. The nice Costco Customer Service people gave me some additional sites where new locations will be opening between now and the end of June 2009.
So far on the list there are eight new locations coming in the first half of the year: 5 are in the US, 1 is in Canada, 1 is in Japan, and 1 is in Taiwan. I also posted some specific dates regarding the openings in Lakewood, CA; Kapolei, HI; Rockwall, TX; and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. If you want all of the details, check out my Costco Locations page.
If you’ve never ventured over there, the Costco Locations page is where I try to keep information about the upcoming warehouse openings, holiday hours and closures, as well as links to news stories about Costco building projects and warehouse openings. I also encourage anyone that has some tidbit of knowledge in this area to post a comment on the page too. I try to keep up with everything but it can get hard, so a little help is always appreciated.

Just wondering if you know whether it’s possible to check online to see when your membership is up for renewal? I know I can renew online, but it doesn’t tell me on that screen when my renewal is actually due. Just trying to save a phone call or visit to Membership Services.

Unfortunately, it does not appear that there is any way to check this information online. It isn’t available in the online account information and there are no other ways to check on this type of information. You might try contacting the Customer Support people online. I’ve always found them very helpful and quick to respond. Have been a member of Costco for many years…till recently. Are there any plans for another Coasto in the Leesburg area of Central Florida? There is a Sams opening up in Lady Lake, FL opening up in 3 days and a BJs opening up in Clermont in the spring. It is 37 miles to a Costco from where we live. The 2 others are only 10 miles away. Whoud prefer to stay with Costco but mileage ang gas prices dictate differently. Thanks for any information you may have… Dennis & Catherine Janowicz

We live in Muskogee, OK not too far from Tulsa. We would sure welcomb a store anywhere in the area.

I work for a company that erects Costco warehouses. I have heard rumors of 2 stores coming to the Atlanta area in the next few months can anyone offer any further information in regards to exact locations. It would help me plan my stay. Thank you.

The Costco in New Hampshire is in Nashua on D. W. Highway, very close to the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border. It sells beer, wine, tires, has a snack shop, and is a fairly decent Costco. No cheap gas though!

The map shows a Costco in Ocala, on E. Silver Springs rd! Is this store open? We recently moved to this area and were told our nearest Costco was in Altamonte Springs, on Orange Ave. I don’t know the distance from Lady Lake to either store, but Ocala has to be closer.
