Costco Travel is not a bad web site as long as you don’t mind paying more than trip is worth. Since I travel often, I regularly check all the sites looking for good deals and unfortunately, Costco has never even come close to some of the other web sites for the exact same itinerary.

Costco Travel offers packages with value adds like shipboard credits, resort credit, free upgrades & breakfasts. When comparing prices, be sure you’re comparing apples to apples!

Costco sure does have a great cruise program. However we at cheapertravel.com have a lowest price guarantee for our cruise sales. Check us out and then report to this group if you don’t believe us.

I’m sure you would still get the American Express rebate because that is valid on purchases from anywhere, and this is still a purchase that you are making from someone. I think the rate would be 2% for the American Express program since this is a travel purchase.

Costco probably doesn’t include this in their rebate plan because you aren’t actually making the purchase from them but from the service provider – Disney, Hertz, Best Western, etc.

Do you know if you get the True Earnings Amex rebate for travel (3%) if you sign up for one of these and pay with your TE Amex card? You wouldn’t get your 2% executive rebate but you might still get the 3% rebate, right?

On the cost of a couple of these things that could really add up!
