A couple of weeks ago I posted about the peanut product recalls with a list of recalled products sold through Costco. I tried to keep updating the list in the comments, however, the comments list was getting rather long and I figured people were probably having a hard time looking through all of the comments to figure out what all of the affected products were. So, here are all of the items that Costco lists as being recalled as a result of the peanut problems. If you don’t see the product you are wondering about, all I can say is that you might want to wait a bit before eating it, or check the list at the FDA.

Since Costco has been very diligent about updating their list of peanut recall products, I can only assume that the Kirkland Signature branded items are okay.

I just called the 800 number on the Kirkland Signature organic peanut butter I had been holding out to eat. The person said that no Kirkland Signature products were part of the peanut recall. However, she could not tell me the source of the peanuts or the manufacturer. I’m still not so convinced this peanut butter is safe.
