Costco Coupon Book – July 13 – August 2, 2009

July 10th, 2009 · 24 Comments

There are some great coupons in this book, including one for tires.  And I’m really excited to see a coupon for the Langer’s Mango Nectar, mostly because this means that it’ll be back in the stores.  Out of the 100 coupons, there seem to be a lot of cleaning supply coupons; I’m not sure why so many this time.  In any case, there are a fair amount of the same types of coupons that we see routinely now, like vitamins and toothpaste,  however, as always there are some new items that have coupons too.

Food & Beverages: There are 16 food and beverage coupons.  Amongst them are the delicious bakery fresh chocolate chip cookies that we love at my house.

  • Kirkland Signature Gourmet Chocolate Chunk Cookies – These cookies are delicious!  I’ve written about them several times on my blog but I just can’t help it; they’re that good.  They have a nice amount of chocolate chips, made with decent chocolate not the waxy stuff you get at some bakeries.  Plus, they maintain a nice balance between crispy and soft; not too far on either side.  And you know, since it is so hot this time of year, you don’t want to heat up the house making cookies at home, so you should pick up some of these with the coupon.  And there’s no item limit with this coupon either!  Anyone ever freeze these?  24 cookies. $2.00 off; no limit.
  • Langer’s Mango Nectar – It’s back, it’s back, it’s back!  You know I will be picking up some of this.  I love this mango nectar.  It’s thick and tastes just like a mango.  Plus, it makes a nice smoothie or decent mango lassi.  This is the best mango nectar and I just wanted to praise it once again, and point out that it is back , and back at a discount for all of you who were anxiously awaiting its return like me.  150 ounces. $1.50 off; limit 2.

Costco has sales and coupons for tires fairly often and sometimes even when there isn’t a coupon book, they’ll be having a sale. So, you should try checking out their online tire center too (though at the moment it doesn’t look like they’ve got a sale going on). My guess is that they should have a coupon coming up on tires in October because it seems like they offer a coupon/sale on tires about every two months.

How often do they run their tire coupons?

They have had Wiis at our Costco recently for $244.99 and I believe that comes with the Wii Sports game, a remote and nunchuck and maybe a sensor bar too. I haven’t been looking lately, but when I was Costco and their bundle were the cheapest I saw at retail stores.

Anyone know where to get a wii for as low as possible???

*sigh* I’m disappointed in myself. I went back and forth about whether to buy the Circulon set (we NEED new pots and pans!), and now that the deal has passed, of course, I’ve reached my decision: I’m an idiot for not buying!!! No one ever sells these used or any cheaper!

Love the cookies-we went back several times this month just for those.

Bought my FoodSaver at Costco a couple of years ago-great deal, great product! Of course, it didn’t help that we were already thinking about it AND the demonstrator was sucking the air out of a Peeps chick in one of the plastic containers. Go ahead, try it-you know you want to.

    I heart Costco.

Jessica, I have done the same thing before…and I hate it when it happens. I now try to be really vigilant about making my decisions and forcing myself to get back to Costco before the coupon expires. Sadly, I don’t think Costco has cookware coupons all that often. Of course, they might have another one before Thanksgiving or Christmas, if you can wait that long.

Well, I was pretty close to the right dates. Looking at the Costco Connection image, it seems that the new Costco Coupon Book will be valid from August 17 – September 6.

There is a glimpse of the next coupon book on page 67 of the current Costco Connection.

I didn’t see the Pond’s cleansweep coupon. Arrggh…I just went to Costco the other day too…I guess I’ll have to make another trip because I like the product and $5 off is a too good to pass up.

Thanks for posting these. I was wondering when the next coupon book would be issued and what dates it will likely be effective.
    Great site!

    • 11 Kimberly // 2009.07.31 at 9:37 am

I’m not sure of the exact date for the next Costco Coupon Book. But my guess would be sometime around the middle of August; they seem to have a 2 week span between coupon books.

Brian, I bought a huge thing of the steak seasoning and use it all the time. My family and I love it on just about anything!! Not just steaks, but on corn on the cob, wings, ribs, even baked potatoes! It adds so much flavor and a little goes a long ways.

I just found this website and grateful for costco coupon posting. The reason is that I have not received my coupon book till now. I tried to call customer service a week days ago and its the postal service problem. This has already happened to me 3 times. Thank you for posting the coupon.

I’m tempted to buy the Montreal Steak Seasoning cause it’s grilling season. Does anyone have any experience with it? I’ve had the Montreal Chicken Seasoning for a long time and it’s great.

I like that they have a coupon for the Nutri Grain Bars, but miss that they no longer sell the Pria bars in stores. I liked those even though I’m a guy.

I agree, the Palmero’s Pizza is great.

  13. 15 Kimberly // 2009.07.14 at 9:49 am

Sorry, but I don’t know the price of the binder. I walked right past them this weekend but can’t recall the price. Hopefully someone else knows and will post a reply though.

  14. 16 gee // 2009.07.14 at 9:47 am

do you know what the price is for the tech gear filled binder?

  15. 17 HIren // 2009.07.13 at 4:57 pm

is there any discount on 500 GB my passport WD hard disk?

  16. 18 Tracey // 2009.07.12 at 12:55 am

You must try those Healthy Choice Fudge Bars. I’m completely addicted! They are huge, fudgy and satisfying with only 100 calories and 5 grams of fiber each!
And Palermo’s Pizza is better than any pizza I’ve ever had! They have lots of intriguing flavors, but the Margherita is my favorite with its thin and crispy crust, garlicky chunks of tomatoes and the perfect amount of zesty cheese. Good thing there’s no limit on this one!

    • 19 Kimberly // 2009.07.14 at 7:35 am

We like the Palermo’s pizzas too; we always have some in our freezer. I like the pepperoni and the Margherita too. I think it looked like they had a new flavor, chicken alfredo perhaps, when we were there this weekend. I don’t remember seeing it before.

  17. 20 Clue // 2009.07.11 at 3:25 pm

No, I didn’t get the FoodSaver unit at Costco (gasp!) as there was actually a better deal elsewhere at the time. (faint!) But I do buy my FoodSaver bags at Costco, whenever they offer a coupon for them once or twice a year. That gives me plenty of of the bags needed to store meat, fish, cheese, nuts, coffee, sauces, etc.

Food keeps better and longer with the FoodSaver than without it! Having it, I don’t think twice about buying most foods in quantity at Costco, even though like you and Dave, we are also a two-person household, .

    • 21 Kimberly // 2009.07.14 at 7:34 am

Hey Clue, did you see that they have a coupon until July 26th for the FoodSaver bags? In the Costco Connection they have a bunch of instant savings, and the FoodSaver and bags are part of that. There is $5.00 off of the bags, as well as $20.00 off the actual FoodSaver sealing system.

  18. 22 Kimberly // 2009.07.11 at 8:36 am

Did you get your FoodSaver at Costco? LOL I might have to look into getting one if you can use it to freeze things like cookies, which I wouldn’t think would normally be freezer friendly really.

I have frozen the cookies several times, but I’ve only done so after packing them with the hasn’t-failed-me-yet FoodSaver. The cookies keep perfectly.

I’ve said many times that I’d have to rethink my Costco membership if I didn’t have a FoodSaver. It makes preserving large quantities of just about anything so much more effective. It’s a blessing, just like those Kirkland Signature Gourmet Chocolate Chunk Cookies!
