We are recent “transplants” from northern Virginia to Newnan, GA. Aside from getting used to the area, I am beside myself that the closest COSTCO is nearly one-hour’s drive from my home. With the holidays fast approaching, it is going to be so very difficult to get my COSTCO fix. Any plans for a new COSTCO in the Newnan area.

I haven’t commented before, but want to take this chance to thank you for your blog. I really look forward to reading it. I’m also addicted to Costco and it is great fun to get a head’s up on the latest and greatest from you.

(By the way, I’m from Issaquah, Wa. where as you know Costco is headquartered. I’ve had the pleasure of organizing field trips there for my kids, which have been so much fun. They let us come in before the store opens and have a grand tour. They let the kids decorate cookies and see the vault where they keep all the money–no grown ups allowed. I asked the employee giving us a tour if they get any special discount for working there and she said that they don’t because Costco only sells at 10% above wholesale so everyone gets the discount. The employees are just the first ones to see the items they are closing out, which can be a big benefit!)

Dave, you may think yourself insignificant to the whole deal, but many of us know all too well that too many women don’t get to reach their goals due to the whining or out right roadblocks thrown at them by an unsupportive spouse. But even beyond that, you’ve done more than just not stand in Kimberly’s way, you’ve also been her sometimes-muse and frequent partner in shopping crime.

None of which is take away anything from dear Kimberly, who does indeed rock!!
