If you’ve been putting off shopping for your New Year’s Eve party, you don’t have much longer to procrastinate.  Costco is closing early Thursday, December 31, at 5 pm for New Year’s Eve and will be closed on New Year’s Day too.  So, if you have some last minute shopping to do for your festivities or maybe for a special New Year’s Day meal, you’d better get over there early today or early tomorrow.  If you’re lucky it’ll be like our shopping trip on Sunday, post-Christmas, when there were no crowds, not even anywhere near the regular amount of shoppers on a Sunday morning.  We were relieved because after the last couple of weeks of the mob of shoppers, it was a nice change to have a crowd-free shopping day.  We noticed that Costco was gearing up for all of the New Year’s party shoppers with lots and lots of champagne!

Costco will resume their normal operating hours on Saturday, January 2, 2010!  Have a safe and happy New Year’s, everyone!
