I too was very annoyed at the Pulled Ham, Called Pulled Pork at CostCo.
It tasted like the Sliced Ham in 2 Lb. packages.
"Pork the other white meat". This pulled Pork is Pink, and Salty.
Pork is the fresh meat you get from a pig, ham is pork which has been preserved with salt or a salt solution (brine) and then cooked, usually boiled or roasted.
My 2 cents.

It is not a greasy chunk-filled mess either as one poster wrote. I ate this a few minutes ago, along with NINE other people, including children, and they ALL loved it. We are people who usually cook from scratch and this tastes almost as good as made from scratch, and once again, I repeat, this is NOT ham!

I eat KS Pulled Pork all the time. I know pulled pork, and yes, it is a bit more hammy. But it is pulled pork.
It has a good amount of smoke flavor for store bought pork, and is convenient as could be.
Other than smoking it yourself or going to a bbq joint, what could be better than that?

@J.Staudenraus - I am so glad that someone aside from me likes the KS Pulled Pork. I thought it was really juicy and yummy, but there have been a lot of unfavorable comments about it on here. Although, I do know that what some people think is pulled pork is different from what I think it is, and that's just a regional thing I guess. I had never even thought of having it with eggs but that sounds good. Bet it would make a really yummy omelet too.

KIRKLAND PULLED PORK - Last week my sister in-law from Georgia visited us in the New York area with her teenage daugter. I went to COSTCO to pick up some dinner items. Now, as a "Northerner" I fully understand that in the South the word "barbecue" is a noun, while in the North it is a verb. I served the pulled pork warmed up with a good quality (no corn sweetener) BBQ sauce.
Truth is, right out of the pouch this stuff is so juciy, so rich, so smoky and so flavorful that it needs nothing!
It is great warmed up and served on a bun, excellent on top of a pizza, or with eggs at breakfast.

I agree with those who do not care for the Kirkland Signature "Pulled Pork" , it is a greasy chunk filled mess. I will never eat it again. The Austin Blues was as close to Tennessee Barbeque as you could find in the Northwest. This KS is just dog food. I will NEVER buy another one.

Whether the KS "Pulled Pork" is good or not is debatable. But is is NOT PULLED PORK. It is (partially pulled) HAM! KS and Costco are dishonest marketers and should be ashamed. This latest case of Costco's arrogance and dishonesty will likely be the last straw that makes us cancel our membership at the next renewal.

Yes, the pulled pork tastes like HAM. I was hoping for a nice smokie taste and a shreaded texture. I open the box and theres this vac pak of meat in there. I didn't want to heat the whole thing at once, so I took it out of the bag , used a big knife and cut off a hunk and put that in the microwave. It took some effort to get it to shread, but there were some big soild hunks in there. With BBQ sauce, it wasn't bad, but NOT what I expected. its pretty salty tasting...I may just bring it back. Taste for yourself...we can always bring it back!
