Just bought the Kirkland “Mrs. Dash”-like stuff. Anyone else try it? I tried the Kirkland Dry Dish Soap (not pods) and it was so awful I brought it back the next day and exchanged it for Cascade Dry (not pods). I recently started using pods because I wanted to know for sure I was using the right amount. If Costco ever gives away a sample of the Kirkland pods, I’ll try them but I won’t commit to a whole box of them until I can test drive them.

The stores in the LA area indicated that the Lavash Chips have been removed from their system. Perhaps they will return after a brief hiatus, which one of their store managers told me can happen on occasion.

@Amy – last time I was at that Costco location they were selling books still, although it wasn’t a big section like it is at some Costco stores. Maybe they found out that since Target is right there people weren’t coming to Costco for books.

@Rande – Maybe they’re just temporarily out of the lavash chips? It seems odd that they would have gotten rid of them in the US and just started to introduce them here in the UK; I noticed we had them now when I was last at our UK store.

I am very disappointed that the NYC East Harlem Costco does not have a book / DVD section.
Costco is in the same shopping center with a Target…maybe that is the reason, I don’t know.

I bought the Asian Chicken Wraps and found them outstanding – found in the prepared food section, next to those delicious roast chickens. You get 2 huge wraps for $8.99.

My fav item is the Hannah brand Tzatziki. Smooth and garlicky. OUTSTANDING as a dip or on a baked potato.

Their dishwasher detergent, the kind that come in little pastic pockets. It was clearly modeled after cascade’s version. I didn’t think it would work well, but it was considerably cheaper, so I gave it a try, and it is EXCELLENT.
