Yesterday, Costco Canada announced a safety recall for two varieties of their Kirkland Signature bakery cookies because they might have little bits of metal in them. Luckily, no one has been injured or gotten sick from the cookies though.
The cookies that are being recalled are the really delicious Chocolate Chunk Cookies (Item #: 237361) and the Chocolate Lover’s Cookie Pack (Item #: 169327), but only those purchased from Canadian Costco locations between July 26 and August 7, 2010.
So, if you purchased either of these types of cookies, you should not eat them and return them to Costco for a full refund. If you have questions or require more information, you can contact Costco Canada at 1.800.463.3783.
To view this, or other, product recall notices for Costco Canada, please see the Product Notices webpage on the Costco.ca website.
