Costco UK Coupon Book: January 17 – February 6, 2011

January 14th, 2011 · 7 Comments

Thanks to fellow Costco addict and UK resident Richard, I actually have a Costco UK Coupon Book to post before it even starts.  So, a big thank you to Richard for sending this to me so that I could look through it and post it for everyone in the UK to check out, as well.  If you haven’t gotten your copy of this month’s UK coupon book, you can download the PDF (or view it online using the Google PDF viewer) and look through it before your next shopping trip to Costco.

Costco UK Coupon Book: January 17 - February 6, 2011

There are some really great coupons in here and a really nice variety of things on offer this month.  All together there are £900.00 worth of deals in this month’s coupon book covering everything from electronics, to a whole roasting joint, to lots and lots of cleaning supplies.  Good news for everyone that likes a Costco rotisserie chicken to take home after a long shopping trip, there’s a £1.00 off coupon this month!  I am positive that we will be getting one of those.  There’s also a £14.00 off coupon for Huggies Superdry Nappies Gigabox, so you can get the big box of 114 – 192 nappies (depending on size) for just £31.98.

There are two things that have coupons that I just bought the last time I was at Costco: Vanish Oxi Action and Comfort Pure Fabric Conditioner.  So, for the full review of what I think about those, you’ll have to read my blog on Saturday where I’m posting about those.  However, if anyone can explain to me the difference between the Vanish Oxi Action Pink and the Vanish Oxi Action Crystal, I’d appreciate it.  Since I use both of the products all the time for laundry, I guess these coupons will give me the chance to stock up while I can get some savings.  Now, if I can just find the storage space in my flat.

There’s one coupon that is available exclusively for Executive members.  It is for £3.00 off an Olde Thompson 16 jar twin carousel spice rack for a final price of £16.99 (no VAT) or £20.39 (with VAT).  It’s interesting that they have an offer just for Executive members.  I remember when they used to do this in the US, but I think they stopped that last year or the year before perhaps.

    Hi kimberly,

I live in Florida ,I have a question regarding sales tax on costco products, when I shop at costco some times I find NO sales tax on the items I purchase where as some times I find sales tax in the bill what is the reason for that,.

@AKS – Sales tax is only charged for certain types of goods and services, so not everything you buy at Costco will be charged sales tax. Groceries/ food items are not subject to sales tax in Florida (as well as several other states) and neither are prescription drugs. However, prepared foods are always subject to sales tax (in states that have sales tax).
