Argh! This is Not My Month

March 14th, 2011 · 2 Comments

I really want to apologize to everyone that reads my blog for not having more posts in the last four weeks or so.  But, they’ve been a hard few weeks.  First, I get sick – a winning combination of food poisoning and sinus infection – right before Valentine’s Day.  Which, in case you’re wondering, really wrecks any opportunity for a romantic meal.  It also means that I truly didn’t have the energy to do much but move from one cushy piece of furniture to another.  And thus my blog was sadly, woefully under-posted.  Then, I started feeling better and had a few posts and my computer decided that it wanted revenge, I guess, for being ignored while I was sick, so it died.  My battery expanded (yes, in the computer for extra good times), my graphics card died (the root of all evil, as it turns out) and took my display with it.  Luckily, I had just set up the coupon post to publish the next day.  But I didn’t have anything else scheduled and it took them a solid week to get my notebook fixed because they had to order a new US keyboard.  And of course, then it has taken me a couple of days to get it all restored since we had to wipe it all out and reinstall the OS (thankfully I did have a full backup from an hour before it died).  And while I love my iPhone, it’s limitation for me is typing more than three sentences in a row.  So, no posts last week.  And not many email responses either, so I apologize if you emailed me and I seemed to ignore you.

Argh!

But I’ll be posting this week.  I’m going to continue with the next post in my series about weddings with Costco; this one will be on invitations and such.  I’ve also got a guest post about an international Costco.  And of course, my usual Saturday round-up of Costco product reviews.

    oh, so you’re human! :)

no worries. I thought it was odd it took a little longer for you to get the US coupon book out…I actually figured something was up with your computer or something. But life went on over here! Thanks for doing what you do and helping us out over here!! :)
