How Are You Shopping at Costco for the Spring Holidays?

April 13th, 2011 · No Comments

There are so many holidays and celebrations going on this time of year: Easter, Passover, Graduation, Mother’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day, and a couple of Bank Holidays here in the UK.  Oh and how could I forget all of the celebrations across the UK for the big Royal Wedding.  So, I decided I would try to solicit some guest posts about how everyone is using Costco to shop for their springtime celebrations and parties.

Normally, at this time of year I would be shopping at Costco for Easter dinner.  Plus, more than likely I’d use Costco to send a gift to my mom for Mother’s Day.  In the past we’ve bought ham or lamb for Easter dinner and then most everything else we’d need to make a delicious meal.  And, there might have been some candy thrown in too, even though we’re probably a little old for Easter baskets.  And then at the end of May comes Memorial Day and that always means sausages, burgers, and/or hot dogs on the grill with one of my favorites, potato salad to go with, for a great celebration.  Of course, it isn’t just all about food, but also supplies like paper plates, cups and cutlery, napkins, and flowers.  Or maybe some outdoor furniture and a new grill?

Then there’s the gifts that seem to be needed this time of year for graduations, Mother’s Day, and weddings.  Well, there are so many things to pick from at Costco for any of these occasions, it just depends on your budget and who you are shopping for, I think.   We have given lots of Costco Cash Cards or Costco memberships for weddings, as well as baby showers, and either of those are always a big hit.  The selection of electronics would probably make you popular with most any graduate too.  And for your mom, there are tons of things really from flowers and chocolates to jewelry to household items.

So, how are you shopping at Costco right now?  Do you have a great gift idea or recipe that you’d like to share?  If so, I’d love to host your Guest Post so that you can share your thoughts with your fellow Costco fans.

If you would like to share a Guest Post, just take a look at my brief guidelines on the Guest Post page.  This page has all the information about how to send me a Guest Post, as well as what is acceptable and what isn’t.  If you mention specific products it would be great if you could include prices and item numbers too.
