The new Costco UK coupon book started earlier this week on 9 April and runs throughout the rest of the month, 29 April (okay, a day short of the rest of April). This latest coupon book is full of a wide variety of items and doesn’t seem so weighted towards cleaning supplies, for instance, or any other item. There’s a little bit of everything.
I’ve uploaded the latest Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) so you can browse it if you haven’t gotten yours yet. If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail. Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store. In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, so they clearly do not want you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon. I usually download a copy of the PDF I post to my iPhone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.
There are some great home improvement coupons this month. There’s a coupon for laminate flooring for £5.00 off a 2.133 square metre pack with a final price of £22.78 (with VAT). There’s also a coupon for a Hansgrohe Verso Shower that has a handheld sprayer as well as a rain shower head for £251.98 (with VAT) after £75.00 off. And if those sound like you’ll have to do too much work, then you could always opt for a new gas grill for the backyard instead. This month there’s a coupon for £50.00 off a 4 burner stainless steel gas grill with a final price of £359.98 (with VAT). Or, maybe you could just use the new grill as an enticement to lay new laminate flooring and install a new shower head. And no matter what other home improvement projects you might put off this Spring, you should certainly consider installing one of the Kidde Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarms that has a coupon this month. You get £3.00 off for a final price of £14.38 and that is a pretty low price to put on the safety of your family!
The one coupon that I would definitely suggest for anyone doing Spring cleaning, or even just regular cleaning, is the Eurow Microfibre Towels. These towels are great for all types of cleaning chores because they are super absorbant, great at picking up dust or fine debris, and really soft so you don’t have to worry about them scratching anything. I use them for all of my cleaning tasks, and even have some of them that I use just drying lettuce and herbs after I clean them. You can pick up a 36 towel pack for £10.18 (with VAT) after the £1.50 coupon. The only thing you must remember if you get these is to NEVER EVER wash them with fabric conditioner as it will really ruin their microfibre properties.
However, for all of your other fabric conditioning needs, Costco has a coupon for Comfort this month. I was glad to see this coupon for Comfort (either Pure or Sunshine) fabric conditioner this month because I’m running low and it is an excellent deal with the coupon price. You can get £3.00 off a 5 litre jug for a final price of £5.98 (with VAT). I love the Comfort Pure because it keeps my skin happy and is safe for even the pickiest of skin.
I don’t eat a lot of ice cream and neither does Dave, but the coupon for £2.50 off the Haagen Dazs four pack of pint sized containers of chocolate chocolate chip and vanilla ice cream might entice me for £8.98 (with VAT). Yum! The other food coupon that has gotten my attention if the one for 20% off of £1.30 off the six pack of Border Deliciously Different Biscuits for a final price of £5.19 (no VAT). I’ve purchased these before and really liked their assortment.
Sorry to all of my UK readers for not getting this up earlier. I’ve been on holiday for a week and while my phone is great for a lot of useful things, writing a whole blog post is certainly not one of them. Better late than never, I hope!
