It’s August and for parents that means back to school shopping time. I can remember all of the torture that my sister and I put my mom through with school clothes shopping. I don’t know how she survived, honestly. Back in the olden days when I was a kid and going to school by horse and buggy (okay, not really but it feels like it sometimes), we didn’t have uniforms. However, I can imagine that since so many schools, even public schools, have moved to a uniform policy, for many parents that must save a lot of shopping time, headaches, and money. Plus, there’s never a fight or any one being picked on at school about wearing the out of style jeans or the wrong color or whatever it is that we all found to be such egregious fashion missteps as kids.
The even better news is that you can buy school uniform pieces at Costco now. The Costco school uniform events have probably already started in your area, since I think they mostly began in mid-July. However, they run through mid-August – August 12 for some locations and August 19 for others – so you still have time to make it over to your Costco store to check out their school uniform selection. They have a selection of pieces for both boys and girls, including shirts, pants, shorts, and scooter skirts in a range of sizes. From what I have read, the pieces are good quality and range in price from $7.99 – $9.99 for each piece. That seems like a really good deal to me and I’m assuming that they will live up to the regular high quality of Costco’s usual clothing products. Also, you do have the great return policy if they don’t live up to your quality expectations.
To see when the Costco location in your area has their school uniform event, you can look through the very long list at Costco.com. They have locations all over the country, and as I mentioned this event runs through either August 12 or August 19, so there’s still some time left.
