This week is all about coupon books. Luckily, I’ve been able to get a copy of the 2012 Thanksgiving Weekend coupon book for the US already. If you haven’t gotten your coupon book for the Costco Thanksgiving Weekend Savings, you can now pick those up at your local Costco. Typically these are not mailed out; you can only get them by stopping by the store. This coupon book covers Black Friday, November 23, as well as the Saturday and Sunday following Thanksgiving too; it runs November 23 – 25, 2012. And don’t forget that Costco, like most retailers, will be opening early on Friday, November 23rd at 9 am. Since the discounts in this coupon book are only available while supplies last, it might be a good idea to get there early on Friday if there’s something you really, really want.
Also, for anyone stopping by their local Costco during the Thanksgiving weekend, you can pick up a copy of the latest Costco cookbook, Simply Delicious: The Costco Way. The cookbook has more than 250 recipes using Costco products. If you miss getting a copy at the store, you can also browse it, as well as previous versions, at the Costco Connection website. It isn’t up yet, but will be added to the site after Thanksgiving weekend.
In this coupon book, there are 36 coupons that you can use in the warehouses for pretty impressive savings. There are also 32 great holiday savings deals that you will be able to find at Costco.com. In addition, there are going to be several Instant Savings offers on a variety of televisions (selection and deals vary by location). All of these coupons are only valid while supplies last; no rain checks!! I’ve uploaded a copy of the Costco US Thanksgiving 2012 Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer and browse through it now if you haven’t picked yours up yet. A couple of the pages had the amount that you get off cut off and you couldn’t read it, so I annotated my PDF to provide those, but I think everything else that is important should be visible.
As you would expect there are plenty of electronics, computers, cameras and things like that with coupons or online deals in the book. There are also plenty of coupons for clothing items. But there are a couple of real stand-out deals this year:
- Dyson DC40 Animal Ball Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner, $120.00 off, limit 5. This is an amazingly huge amount off with this coupon and the end price is just $369.99. If you’ve been wanting one of these and drooling over them for months and months but just couldn’t bring yourself to pay the big price for it, this is the perfect opportunity for you. I’ve heard from several pet owners that this is the best vacuum cleaner for keeping your carpets and upholstery super clean and free from even a trace of pet hair. I would have loved to have had one of these when I had our two Samoyeds and their mass quantities of shedding.
- Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus Food Processor, $40.00 off, limit 3. This is another item that can seem so expensive normally, but with this coupon and Costco’s great prices you’ll end up paying just $109.99 for an excellent food processor. This is the food processor that I have and it is outstanding. You can save so much time chopping or shredding with this, it is a must if you cook and/or bake a lot. I was amazed the first time I used it to chop up nuts for baklava. It made a horrible job go so quickly I was amazed and my hands didn’t hurt afterward either. It’s also perfect for making things like pesto, breadcrumbs, hummus, salsa, and even bread dough. This would be a wonderful Christmas gift too.
Those are two of my favorite coupons in the Thanksgiving Weekend coupon book but there are lots of great coupons. But remember, these deals are only available while supplies last. So, if there’s something you want, be sure to get there early, early, early so that you don’t miss out.
