Really sorry for the delay in posting these but they went up while we were doing the big move and flights to Sydney last week. I was doing good to brush my teeth each day and I didn’t even have a few spare minutes to sit down and blog like I had hoped. The latest Costco UK coupon book started a week ago (I’m ashamed to say) on Monday, 14 January, and runs through 3 February. This coupon book has £850.00 in savings, which is a decent amount. There is a nice selection of coupons across all kinds of different product types, including some exercise equipment (is Costco trying to tell us something?).
I haven’t uploaded this coupon book since you can get it from the Costco UK site in all of its original PDF glory. If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail. Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store. In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, so they clearly do not want you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon. I usually download a copy of the PDF Ito my iPhone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping. I’ve heard from a couple of fellow Costco UK shoppers that they’ve been told that Costco UK is going to start emailing the coupons out. But I haven’t read anything official from Costco UK on this. But you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from the Costco UK website; there’s a link to it on the Warehouses webpage.
If you’ve got a baby at home, you’ll be happy to see the coupons for £32.00 for two boxes of Huggies Nappies (sizes 3, 4, 4+, 5, and 6). And if you’ve got toddlers, then you’ll be pleased to see the coupon for £2.00 off a box of Huggies Step-Ins (sizes 4, 5, and 6). There’s also a coupon that will allow you to buy two, 900 gram containers of SMA Follow On/Toddler Milk.
If your resolution for 2013 was to get more fit or lose some weight that you might have found in 2012, Costco is totally giving you a hand to reach your svelteness goal. There’s a coupon for 20% off Slim-Fast Shakes (6, 325 ml bottles) and Summer Strawberry Flavoured Powder (2, 438 g containers). But maybe Slim-Fast isn’t your thing, maybe you prefer Atkins. That’s okay, because there’s also a coupon for 25% off Atkins Chocolate Decadence Bars (16, 60 g bars). If you’re looking to get fit with some exercise in the new year, there are two really great coupons this month. There’s one for £100.00 off an Horizon Elite T3000 Folding Treadmill. I loved my folding treadmill because it meant that I could not have a whole room taken up by a giant treadmill. Of course, this isn’t a small investment, since it is still £839.98 (with VAT) after the coupon. Of course, maybe that monetary investment will spur you to actually use it instead of just let it gather dust or clothing. There’s also a coupon for £100.00 off a Nordic Track Elliptical 11.0; also a sizable investment at £479.98 (with VAT). The elliptical machines are really good because they are a hard workout but don’t stress your joints like running on a treadmill.
In addition to those highlights, there’s a coupon for £10.00 off a Roxborough Mirror in 76×107 cm or 42×30 inches. These are really great mirrors with a big beveled mirror frame and look very impressive on your wall. I have some similar ones that I bought from Costco a few years ago. Even without the coupon they are a steal at £39.99, but with the coupon they are just that much better! Seriously, if you tried to buy something similar at John Lewis or someplace like that, you’d end up paying at least three times the price at Costco. If you are in need of a nice sized mirror and this will work for you, definitely make a trip to Costco to pick one of these up while they’ve got a coupon.
Also, I have to mention that there’s a coupon for £1.00 off the best rotisserie chickens ever! They’re so delicious and moist and lovely, and if you can enjoy one and a bargain, so much the better.
