Costco UK Coupon Book: February 4 – 24, 2013

February 3rd, 2013 · No Comments

The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday, 4 February, and runs through 24 February.  This coupon book has £700.00 in savings, which is a decent amount but just slightly less than last month.  Of course, it is always much more important that there are good coupons available.  There usually seem to be more things that I like in the coupon book than this month.  Though, there are definitely some good deals.

I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) so you can browse it if you haven’t gotten yours yet.  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, so they clearly do not want you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  I usually download a copy of the PDF I post to my iPhone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.  I’ve heard from a couple of fellow Costco UK shoppers that they’ve been told that Costco UK is going to start emailing the coupons out.  But I haven’t read anything official from Costco UK on this. However, if you sign up to receive emails from Costco.co.uk, they will send out one that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online.  Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from the Costco UK website; there’s a link to it on the Warehouses webpage.

I like that last month the coupon book was all about exercise equipment and diet foods, and this month, it opens with a full page of coupons for chocolates.  The Lindt selection would be really nice if you have someone you want to buy a chocolate based gift for, I’m sure.  It’s 30% off the 445 gram Lindt selection of beautiful looking chocolates for a sale price of £8.30 with VAT.  That’s a great deal on such a nice selection.

This is a great month for coupons for small kitchen electrics.  There are four different coupons in this category this month and they’re all really good.  You can get £8.00 off a Tefal 8 in 1 cooker, which makes it just £38.38 (with VAT).  I have something like this and love it since I can make everything from pasta to rice to soup to brownies in it. You can also get a Tefal Slimforce Handblender for £5.00 off for a final price of £33.58 (with VAT).  Next, there’s a coupon for £13.00 off a Dualit 4 slice stainless steel toaster.  Any bit of savings off the world’s most expensive toast making device, seems like a good thing to me; with the coupon the toaster is £119.98 with VAT.  And finally, you can save £30.00 off a Kenwood K-Mix stand mixer this month too, for a final price of £239.98 (inc. VAT).

One of my favourite coupons this month is for 25% off a variety of Scotch and 3M office supplies.  I love office supplies and always like to have lots of tape, pens, pads of paper, and sticky notes.  And it is even better when they are different colours and things.  So, with this deal you can get a 24 pack of 3M Post-It notes, an 8 pack of the Post-It Lined Pads, a 3 pack of Scotch Scissors, a 6 pack of Scotch Magic Tape, a 24 pack of glue sticks, an 8 pack of Scotch transparent tape, and lastly an 8 pack of Scotch packing tape.  I would be stocking up on my supply of Post-It notes for sure, this month.  I’m sad to miss out on this deal.

There is a coupon for £4.00 off a Joseph Joseph Chopping Board set.  The set has four different, colour coded boards that you can use for cutting specific types of foods; the types of foods are shown on the little tabs.  The set also comes with a nice little holder as well.  This is a great set for preparing most things, you’re not going to fit a big roast or turkey on here, but they’re a good size for most kitchen cutting.  And the price at Costco is outstanding, even without the coupon.  With the coupon the final price is £19.18 (with VAT) and that is about half of the price that you will find this set at other retailers.  It’s a great deal!
