The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday, 25 February, and runs through 17 March. Since this is the last weekend for the current coupon book, you can check out the next bunch of coupons and see if it makes more sense to put off your Costco trip until next weekend instead. This next coupon book has £800.00 in savings, which is a decent amount and just a bit more than the previous coupon book. Two of my favourite things to buy from Costco have coupons this month, so I’m very sad to be missing these.
I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) so you can browse it if you haven’t gotten yours yet. If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail. Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store. In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, so they clearly do not want you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon. I usually download a copy of the PDF I post to my iPhone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping. I’ve heard from a couple of fellow Costco UK shoppers that they’ve been told that Costco UK is going to start emailing the coupons out. But I haven’t read anything official from Costco UK on this. However, if you sign up to receive emails from Costco.co.uk, they will send out one that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online. Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from the Costco UK website; there’s a link to it on the Warehouses webpage.
As I mentioned, there’s a couple of my favourite items on coupon this month. Probably my most loved one is for Oral-B ProExpert toothpaste. Seriously, this is the best toothpaste ever. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should use this opportunity to pick up a four pack of it. The coupon is for 20% off a 4 pack of 75 ml tubes. So, you get the four tubes for £8.14 with VAT. I’ve written about this a couple of times, so if you want full details of how much I love this toothpaste you can read about it here. I brought several tubes of it with me to Sydney because when we left they weren’t selling it here yet, but luckily, they’ve just started having it in the stores here! I’m hoping this means that they’ll be selling it in the US sometime soon as well.
Aside from that one, another top coupon for me is the one for Lindt Chocolates. I can’t help it, they are so delicious with their velvety smooth chocolate shell filled with creamy goodness. With the 20% off coupon you can get 4, 200 gram packages for £9.58 (with VAT) and have enough chocolates to get you through Easter. And these are such a good deal at Costco. If you like these as much as we do, then Costco really is the best place to buy them.
There’s lots of other great coupons too for all kinds of things. There’s a nice one for £10.00 off when you buy any two Olay Regenerist products, which is great if this is your brand of choice or you’ve just been wanting to give it a try. I also like the Dettol Floor Wipes (£2.00 off, so 4, 15 wipe packs for £6.46). These are great for hard surface floors if the space isn’t too huge. I used these all the time in our kitchen and bathrooms in our flat because they were very easy and convenient. They’re pre-moistened, like other cleaning wipes, but much thicker and better at the scrubby thing.
I also wanted to point out that the last page of the coupon book is all about a special Vauxhall offer for Costco UK members. The Costco Auto programme has been around for a long time in the US and people say pretty good things about it. The Costco Auto programme has arranged special Costco member pricing and will even offer you support during the buying process. So, if you’re in the market for a new vehicle, you might check out what kind of deals they can offer you. Also, once you’ve completed your purchase, if you fill out the Costco Auto satisfaction survey you get a £100 Costco voucher.
