Costco UK Coupon Book: March 18 – April 7, 2013

March 20th, 2013 · No Comments

The new Costco UK coupon book started on Monday, 18 March, and runs through 7 April.  This next coupon book has £1,200.00 in savings, which is quite a bit more than the previous coupon book.  I’m almost glad that I’m not in the UK right now, or I would be positively forced to take advantage of the deal for 20% off Ferrero Rocher (5 boxes of 16 each), making the price just £13.71 with VAT.  They are my favourite chocolate and I really don’t need that kind of temptation.  I was a bit surprised that there aren’t more Easter type items in this coupon book since it goes through Easter weekend.  But there are still lots of good deals.

Costco UK Coupon Book: March 18 – April 7, 2013

I’ve not been able to upload the new Costco UK coupon book (mostly because I can’t download it), luckily though, you can view it online through the Costco UK website; there’s a link to it on the Warehouses webpage.  And perhaps you will have better luck being able to download it or even view it online.   If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, so they clearly do not want you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  I usually download a copy of the PDF to my iPhone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.  I’ve heard from a couple of fellow Costco UK shoppers that they’ve been told that Costco UK is going to start emailing the coupons out.  But I haven’t read anything official from Costco UK on this. However, if you sign up to receive emails from Costco.co.uk, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online (though they seem to be less consistent about this than I would like).  Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from the Costco UK website; there’s a link to it on the Warehouses webpage.

For Lesly, who was looking for an image or information about the Banquet rubbish bags that have less packaging, you’re in luck because they are in this latest coupon book (page three).  You can see the packaging in all of its simple glory.  In the roll at Costco you get 90 tie-top bags made from recycle materials, and of course, the much admired simple packaging, all for 33% off this month.  With the coupon the bags are just £6.74 with VAT.

This month the coupon book is geared toward getting your yard all prepared for a lovely Spring season.  There’s outdoor furniture and lots of lawn and yard care items in the coupon book.  They have a great deal on mixed hanging baskets, where you buy one and you get one at half price (£19.77 with VAT).  This is the perfect way to give a little pop of festive Spring colour to your yard, patio, or deck.  And if you don’t even want the hassle of watering or worrying about upkeep at all, you can get artificial hanging baskets for £7.00 off for a final price of £23.98 with VAT.  And if you do decide to dress up your deck with flowers, you might also consider taking advantage of the deck oil and cleaner deal.  You can get a 5 litre Ronseal decking oil and decking cleaner (also 5 litres) for £21.58 with VAT after the £2.00 off coupon.  There’s also a coupon for heavy duty landscape fabric, as well.  If you have a lot of plant beds in your yard, you really should consider this because the reduced effort in weeding, not to mention soil erosion, is worth it.  You can get the 1.22 m wide by 45 m long roll for £19.18 with VAT after £4.00 off this month.

However, if you are a really keen gardener you might be more interested in the greenhouse package for £1,799.99 with VAT and delivery.  The Vitavia Siruius 13000 greenhouse looks really cute in the picture with a size of 12.7 x 12.7 foot.  It says “installed” on the coupon in the product name but I’m not totally positive that that means installed, as in built and placed, like I think it should mean, or perhaps they have a different meaning.  In either case, it looks quite nice if you have been looking for a nice greenhouse, you might consider checking it out.

If your Spring cleaning is more indoors at the moment and you’ve been looking at your bed and pillows with a new level of loathing, you might be interested in the coupon for pillows and mattress that Costco is offering this month.  You can get a two pack of Snuggledown down and duck feather pillows for £16.78 with VAT after £4.00 off.  And at a great price like that, you can live it up and get four pillows even.  Or, just go ahead and replace all of the pillows in your house.  And since these are feather pillows, you can wash them when they need a refresh instead of having no alternative but to buy new pillows like you need to do with the synthetic fill pillows.  Now, on to your bed.  Costco’s got a deal for 20% off of Sealy and Rest Assured beds and mattresses kiosk.  And the deals include delivery, which makes it even better.  The 20% off pertains to single, double, king, and super king sizes and includes everything but the adjustable Rest Assured line.  It definitely seems like the perfect time to upgrade your bed.

There are several other great coupons of the usual type across housewares, food, beverages, and electronics too. So, be sure to take a look at all of the new deals before your next trip to Costco.
