Costco UK Coupon Book: April 8 – 28, 2013

April 6th, 2013 · No Comments

The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday, 8 April, and runs through 28 April.  There are £1,200.00 in savings, which is just like the previous coupon book.  Why does it always seem like there are so many coupons for sweets – be it candy or biscuits?  So not fair!  But there are plenty of good coupons this month, aside from tempting diet wrecking yummy things.

Costco UK Coupon Book: April 8 – 28, 2013

I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer).  And perhaps you will have better luck being able to download it or even view it online.   If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, so they clearly do not want you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  I usually download a copy of the PDF to my iPhone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.  I’ve heard from a couple of fellow Costco UK shoppers that they’ve been told that Costco UK is going to start emailing the coupons out.  But I haven’t read anything official from Costco UK on this. However, if you sign up to receive emails from Costco.co.uk, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online (though they seem to be less consistent about this than I would like).  Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there; you can find a link to it on the Warehouses webpage.

It’s getting to be Spring time, even if the UK weather doesn’t seem to want to acknowledge that fact.  So, it is the perfect time to update your out of doors spaces.  Luckily Costco has some good deals to help with this.  There’s a really smart looking grill on offer this month for £50.00 off.  The grill is a stainless steel Swiss Grill with 4 gas burners and a cover for £359.98 with VAT.  It’s got a side burner and a rotisserie, as well.  Pretty much everything you need to have a great summer of grilled food.  But if you are more interested in getting your yard looking better and less weedy, there’s also a coupon for the whole lineup of Resolva weed killers for 20% off.  If you’re looking for something a little more extravagant to really make your summer relaxing, there’s also a coupon for £500.00 off a 6 person spa, for just a wee little £3,599.98 with VAT.

There’s a bunch of good coupons for things in the health and beauty area this month.  There’s a coupon for £4.00 off a 2 pack of 200 ml bottles of  BioOil (final price of £19.18 with VAT).  I haven’t tried this myself, but have been wanting to give it a try because of all the fabulous things I’ve heard and read about it.  Too bad I’m not in the UK to take advantage of it.  There’s also a nice coupon for 20% off Wilkinson razors and/or blades for both men and women.  You can get the Hydro 5 razor and 12 blades for £14.38 with VAT or you can get the Hydro Silk razor and 9 blades for £16.30 with VAT.  Why are men’s razors and blades so much cheaper than women’s?  And if you are looking for baby products, this month there’s a deal for 3 for the price of 2 on Huggies Pure Baby Wipes.  Each box contains 6 packages for 64 wipes (384 wipes total), so if you buy your two boxes you’ll pay just £11.97 with VAT and get 18 packages of wipes (1,152 total wipes).   If you’re a contact lens wearer, you’ll be happy to see the coupon for contact solutions fro Optifree.  This is the brand that I use and love these coupons.  Costco prices are already far lower than Boots or other places, but the coupons make it outstanding and stock-up worthy.  You can get £4.00 off either the Optifree Replenish (4, 300 ml bottles for £19.18 with VAT) or Optifree Puremoist (4, 300 ml bottles for £21.58 with VAT).

I also want to point out one other coupon, because I care about everyone’s safety.  There’s a coupon for £3.00 off a Kidde Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detector with a voice alarm.  After the coupon the price is just £14.38 with VAT.  Which seems a very small price to pay for your safety and health, doesn’t it?  You should definitely have one of these by your bedrooms and main living areas.  I like that it detects both smoke and carbon monoxide because they are both imperative to check for and this just makes it that much easier.  If you have just a smoke detector and don’t have carbon monoxide detectors at all, you should definitely get some of these.
