The latest Costco Australia coupon book officially started on Monday, 8 July, and runs through 21 July; not much time but still over a week to take advantage of the savings. There are coupons valued at more than $920.00 in savings. This is another coupon book that started after I left Australia for my holiday in Japan, so I’m a bit late getting it posted. However, if you still haven’t taken a look at it, now you can.
I’ve uploaded the new Costco Australia Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer). If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail. Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store. In Australia, they just automatically deduct the coupons when they ring up your items making them more like instant savings deals instead of truly coupons. I love this method of couponing and wish that all of the Costco locations in the world would follow suit. Of course, I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon. I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping. If you sign up to receive emails from Costco.com.au, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online. Since they post the coupons on the Costco Australia website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there; you can also find a link to it on the homepage.
Since Costco Australia doesn’t often put out a coupon book, there isn’t the constant flow of tyre coupons to use. However, this month, you’re in luck because there’s a coupon for $50.00 off a set of Michelin, BF Goodrich, or Bridgestone passenger car tyres. Or, get $70.00 off a set of tyres for your SUV or commercial vehicle (same manufacturers).
Some of my favourite items to buy at Costco have coupons this month. The one thing that I always buy at Costco and always have on hand, whether I’m in the US, UK, or Australia, is Finish Quantum dishwasher tablets. With this coupon book you can save $6.00 off 3, 20 tablet packages. After the savings that is $23.99 or $0.40 per tablet. These tablets do an amazing job of keeping your dishes, pots and pans, and especially glassware looking like you just bought it. I was amazed at how great the glass dishes came out looking the first time I used this instead of the regular Finish tablets. I had a particularly dull looking Pyrex baking dish that we’ve had for years and use quite a bit and after a single wash it looked super clean and clear again. And if you’re buying the Finish, then you should probably buy the Finish Rinse Aid as well since it also has a coupon. You can get $3.00 off 3, 500 ml bottles of rinse aid or $3.00 off 2, 250 ml containers of dishwasher cleaner.
My other staple cleaning product, this one for laundry, is the Vanish Napisan OxiAction powder. I’ve been using this stuff for a couple of years to keep my whites and colours bright. And I can actually tell a difference too. I can see a distinct difference, especially in whites, from things we had bought before I started using this, and it isn’t just because they are a little older. You can save $3.00 off the OxiAction powder in a 3 kilogram container and/or 2, 14 pod containers of Vanish PowerShots. I’ve never used the PowerShots, so I can’t really chime in on them with any kind of opinion. However, if they work as well as the powder then I would definitely be giving them a try.
I also really like the Mariani beef jerky. I’ve had a thing for beef jerky ever since I was a kid, so we pretty much always have some in the house. Plus, it is really great for a quick hit of energy when you’re hiking or camping, and you don’t have to worry about it getting crushed or flattened. The savings this month is for $2.00 off 255 gram packets of the Mariani soft, hot & spicy, or bulgogi flavours. I love both the soft and hot and spicy, however, there’s something about the bulgogi flavour that does not work well for my tastebuds, nor Dave’s. I like real bulgogi but there’s something just off in the flavour, to me, when it is made into beef jerky.
My favourite dental hygiene items are on coupon this time too. I know I write about these things all the time, but I can’t help it, they are that good. Dental health is important, so it bears repeating how good these toothbrushes are and how super clean they’ll keep your teeth. The Oral-B CrissCross toothbrushes can’t be beat for a regular handheld toothbrush. They have a comfortable handle and the pattern of the bristles really seems to do wonders at cleaning your teeth. You can get an 8 pack of toothbrushes for $13.99 or $1.75 per toothbrush after a savings of $4.00. And of course, you should pair the great toothbrushes with the wonder toothpaste, Oral-B ProExpert. Unfortunately, that isn’t having a deal this month but even without a coupon Costco really does have the best prices on it. I’m not sure if the Oral-B ProHealth Fresh Mint toothpaste is at all the same, but it is $6.00 off 4, 145 g tubes (final price of $12.99).
It’s actually a good bunch of coupons for keeping yourself and your house clean. So be sure to check out the coupon book for all of the great coupons that I haven’t even mentioned.
