The latest seasonal coupon book for Costco Canada started up 10 days ago on September 9, but the good news is that they run through November 17. So you still have two months of savings to enjoy. The Autumn coupon book has a total of $14,400 in instant savings across 69 different coupons, including 31 coupons/deals that are just available on the Costco Canada website (coupons with the red border). The coupons are divided up into different weeks, with only one coupon running until November 17 actually, with 10 of the other coupons ending on November 10. All of the online-only coupons run for two weeks, as well as selection of the warehouse coupons. All of the coupons are very clearly marked with the dates that they are valid and the ones that run for two weeks have that highlighted in red text so that they are easier to spot. But make sure you check out the dates so that you don’t miss out on any of the deals you really like. I’ve uploaded the Costco Canada Autumn Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) so you can browse it if you haven’t gotten one yet.
There are some really great coupons in this booklet! The good thing is that there are nice coupons throughout the whole book for deals both in the warehouses and online. So no matter what week you are shopping at Costco, there are excellent deals to be had. But of course, I have some favourites.
I did want to make sure that I point out that there are actually TWO coupons for tires in this coupon book. The first one started on September 9 and runs for four long weeks until October 6, so plenty of time left to take advantage of this deal. You can get $70.00 off a new set of four Bridgestone tires, either at the warehouses or Costco.ca. Then, if you don’t really like the Bridgestone tires, you have the second coupon that runs from September 23 to October 6 (just two weeks). This coupon gets you $70.00 off a set of four Pirelli tires in the warehouses.
My favourite coupon in the whole book is probably for $80.00 off a KitchenAid Professional Stand Mixer that runs from September 23 to 29. Before the discount the price is $379.99 in warehouses and $389.99 at Costco.ca including delivery. So, you can see that these mixers are a total deal after the $80.00 discount. If you need a mixer or have been wanting a better one, now is definitely the time to buy. The KitchenAid Professional mixers are really the best and have been for years and years because they are very powerful and perfectly put together. My mom has had hers, that she still uses, since the early 1980s and it looks and runs perfectly still. And if you’re not thinking about buying one for yourself, you might consider it for the best gift ever for someone that likes or wants to bake. This would be great for a christmas gift, wedding gift, birthday gift, whatever gift. You would be a very popular gift giver!
Along the same lines is a coupon for $50.00 off a KitchenAid 9 cup Food Processor that runs from September 30 to October 6. Before the discount the price is $149.99 in warehouses and $159.99 at Costco.ca with delivery. As you can see that means that if you pick one of these up in the warehouse, you’ll be paying just $100.00. I’m a big fan of the KitchenAid mixers (as you can tell from above) but also really like the blender that I have and imagine that the food processor is just as good. They make their kitchen electrics to last for a long time, so they are a good investment for your kitchen.
Another outstanding kitchen gadget is the FoodSaver Vacuum System for $35.00 off from October 21st to the 27th. Before the discount the price is $159.99 in warehouses and $164.99 from Costco.ca delivered. I don’t have one of these, sadly, though I do really want one. However, I know several people who have them, including a number of readers here, and they all seem to love them. I’ve been told that they help food last longer, whether in the fridge or freezer. Plus, if you shop at Costco this is perfect for you to be able to split up large packages of meat, vegetables, or whatever. So, you get the most out of your Costco shopping trips. Of course, if you buy one of these, or if you have one already, you will be glad to see the coupon for $9.00 off the six pack of Vacuum Packaging Rolls. This coupon runs for the same period as the FoodSaver coupon, so you can pick up both at the same time. The rolls are normally $38.99 in warehouses and $44.99 delivered from Costco.ca.
I also have a couple of favourite coupons for less expensive items too. There’s one for $4.00 off a Luxurious Sherpa Throw from September 23 to 29.; the throw is $19.99 before the discount. We actually have two of these throws because they are so warm and cuddly. They have a faux shearling fabric on one side and then a velvety plush coloured fabric on the other side. No matter which side you use, it is super soft. The other nice thing is that they wash and dry very well, not losing any of their colour, fluffiness, or softness. They are perfect for snuggling on the sofa on cold winter evenings. In the cuddly category, there’s also a coupon for $3.00 off a four pack of Jockey Soft and Cozy Women’s Socks from November 4 through November 10; originally $9.99 before discount. I have some of these too and love them in the winter time, or whenever the weather is chilly. Much like the throw they are so very soft that you will feel like you are having a special treat when you put them on. And unlike some clothing items that are super soft on the outside but not the inside, these are soft on both sides. For $6.99, you can’t go wrong getting these.
There are lots of great coupons for home improvements, but there’s one that I hope everyone buys if they don’t already have one: a Kidde Carbon Monoxide Detector. And even if you have one, maybe you should buy a second or third. There’s a $9.00 coupon for a Kidde Carbon Monoxide Detector from October 14 through the 27th. Carbon monoxide is a colourless, tasteless, odourless toxic gas that can come from equipment that uses combustion to produce heat, such as fuel fired heaters, gas water heaters, gas stoves, fireplaces or wood burning stoves, gas dryers, grills, lawnmowers, and of course cars. It isn’t something you’re going to notice until it is already too late, most likely. When you have carbon monoxide poisoning you kind of just feel like you have the flu because the symptoms are mostly innocuous things like headache, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, and shortness of breath (more troubling if you notice it). You should definitely have a carbon monoxide detector on each floor, especially by the bedrooms and it is best if you also have one near any indoor appliances that are burning gas, fuel, or wood so that you can immediately tell if there’s a problem. So, with a $9.00 off coupon the price is going to be good enough, that you will certainly agree that it is better to be safe than sorry.
There are several other outstanding coupons, so be sure to give the whole book a good look before you go to Costco anytime between now and November 10.
By the way, if you sign up for the Costco Canada email newsletter, it makes it just that much easier to stay on top of sale items. To sign up for their email newsletters you just need to provide them with your email address, which you can do right from the Costco.ca website. You’ll find the sign up box in the grey footer area (way down at the bottom of the page) on any of the pages. They don’t seem to send out so many emails that it is annoying and there are lots of great items and deals highlighted in every newsletter. Plus, they’ll send out special emails for specific deals too.
You can also view the current weekly deals through the Costco Canada website too. You will find a big blue link, “Click here for great savings at your Costco Warehouse“, in the header area of all of the pages (it’s at the right-hand side) Once you’ve clicked that link you just need to pick your province and you’ll be presented with all of the great weekly warehouse deals in your area. I’m impressed too because they have a lot of different items listed, not just a couple.
