Costco UK Coupon Book: November 4 – 24, 2013

November 2nd, 2013 · No Comments

The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday, 4 November and runs through majority of November, until 24 November.  It has coupons valued at more than £1,000.00 in savings, which is quite a bit more than the previous coupon book.  There are several things in this coupon book that are making me want to rush to Costco.  Since it is getting to be holiday season, there’s also a number of great gift items and things you can buy to give your holiday party that extra sparkle.

Costco UK Coupon Book: November 4 – 24, 2013

I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer).  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, so they clearly do not want you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items.  I love this method of couponing and I’m glad to see that it seems all Costco locations in the world are following suit.  I do still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.  If you sign up to receive emails from Costco.co.uk, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online, usually the weekend before the new book starts.  Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there; you can also find a link to it on the Warehouses webpage.

While there may always be a coupon for tyres in the US, they are a lot more rare in the UK.  However, this month there’s a great coupon for £50.00 off a set of four Michelin tyres.  This is great because it is just in time for winter driving season.  Plus, if you are planning on doing some driving for the holidays, this is a great way to be prepared and safe.

If you’re planning a holiday party, or would just like to give some lovely champagne or port for a holiday gift, there is a whole section of this month’s coupon book about wine, champagne, and port.  In total, there are 19 different coupons for ales, cider, wine, champagne, port, and even one for Jack Daniel’s whiskey.  I’m not a drinker, so this is mostly just about saying “hey, lots of great coupons for various alcoholic libations this month” and less about opinions or suggestions.  However, I will say that I have heard very good things about all of the Kirkland Signature wine and champagne, though I didn’t realize that they also offered a KS port now as well.  Aside from the more high priced stuffed, there’s also a good selection of more reasonably priced cases of wine (better for parties, I should think).

There are a number of other coupons that I will probably take advantage of, and a few that I’ve written about before as well.  For instance, I really think the Finish Quantum dishwasher tablets are brilliant and highly suggest them.  They will really make your glasses sparkle and keep your dishes looking clean and lovely.  You can get the 2 pack of 40 tablets for half price right now at £11.86 with VAT.  I had some of these in storage it turns out, so I won’t necessarily be able to take advantage of this coupon, though I might because they are pretty compact and I’m pretty sure they won’t go bad.  I definitely intend to replenish my toilet paper supply with the coupon for 10, 4 roll packs of Velvet for £10.78 with VAT.  Let’s just leave it at this is something good to keep on hand, that won’t go bad, and you definitely don’t want to run out of it.

Even though my sock drawer runneth over, I have a feeling I will be getting at least one package of the Pringle Fancy Socks for  £2.00 off.  You can get six pairs of mens or womens socks for £9.58 in fun patterns and colours to liven up sock collection.  I would try to coerce Dave into getting some but I know that is a losing battle.  But luckily, you can also get 20% off two or more packages of Pringle boxers or plain black socks.  The coupon almost makes it seem like you need to get one of each, but I think that you could get two packages of the socks or two of the underwear and still be able to get the savings.

There’s a nice six piece stainless steel knife set that is £4.00 off this month that I wanted to point out as well; after the discount it is £19.08 with VAT.  I don’t have these, but my mom has this same set that she bought at Costco US.  She ended up liking them so much she bought a set for a friend even.  The knives are brightly coloured and come with sheaths for each knife to keep the blades sharp and your fingers free of cuts.   They are also dishwasher friendly.   The set includes all of the necessary knives like a paring knife and bread knife, as well as chef and santoku knives in a couple of sizes.

There are several other great coupons this month for cool things like a drum kit or an electric guitar (each £20.00 off) or boring necessities like Vanish Crystals (£2.00 off) and Duracell Batteries (30% off).  But no matter what you’re in need of this month, there are some great coupons in this latest book!
