The new Costco UK coupon book starts Monday, March 17, and runs through April 6. This new coupon book has savings of £550.00 in it, which is just a bit more than the previous coupon book. There are some nice coupons, but I think maybe the last book was a little better for variety. However, this new one has coupons for a few things that I missed out on in the late February coupons when I was unable to make it to Costco, so I was happy to see them back. I was a little surprised that there aren’t more coupons for Mother’s Day type gifts and items, like fresh flowers might have been nice, for instance.
I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer). If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail. Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store. In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, clearly they do not require you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I love this method of couponing and I’m glad to see that it seems all Costco locations in the world are following suit. I do still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon. I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping. If you sign up to receive emails from Costco.co.uk, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online, usually the weekend before the new book starts. Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there; you can also find a link to it on the Warehouses Offers webpage.
Since Spring is starting to blossom, it is the perfect time to do a little bit of work around the yard. There are a couple of coupons that will be perfect to get you going too. There’s a coupon for 20% off Weedblock Landscape Weed Fabric, which makes it £19.18 (with VAT) for a 1.22 m x 45 m roll. We have always used this when landscaping because it makes it so much easier to maintain weed-free beds, not to mention it also keeps your mulch from just sinking right into your soil. If you’ve already got plants in a bed it is a bit harder to put down but definitely worth it. The other yard project coupon is for £5.00 off a pack of 8 solar powered HGTV landscape or walkway lights; final price of £29.98 with VAT. Solar powered lights are a great way to add some light around your yard without messing with any type of electrical work. The only downfall to solar powered lights like this is that you do need to have the lights in a place where they will get adequate sunlight to charge the batteries or else the lights won’t work their best. There’s one last coupon to make your yard look great. You can get £2.00 off 5 litre jugs of Ronseal Decking Protectant and/or Decking Cleaner and Reviver. No matter which one you choose the price after the discount will be £21.58 with VAT. I would think that you could also use this on wooden fencing, I mean, wood is wood, right? So, with all of these coupons your yard is sure to look perfect for the nice weather I’m hoping our Summer will bring.
Some of my very favourite candies are having coupons in this new book. There’s a coupon for 20% off a box of 24 Ferrero Rocher, making them just £4.69 (inc. VAT). I love love love these and will probably buy some even though I should just walk right past them and act like I don’t see them. The other coupon for something deliciously sweet is for £2.00 off a pack of 4, 200 gram boxes of Lindt Lindor Truffles; final price £9.58 (inc. VAT). I just love their melty, creamy chocolate centers. Yum! And, Costco has five different varieties to choose from. Also, I will point out that the price at Costco is an incredible deal when compared to other supermarkets and retailers. Normally, you would pay £4 – £4.59 for a 200 gram package of these truffles. So, at Costco it is like you are getting two free boxes of these truffles. That’s a great deal!
If you are a big fan of ice cream, there’s a coupon for the very excellent Kirkland Signature Vanilla Ice Cream. With the coupon you get £3.00 off a pack of 2, 1.89 litre containers for a final price of £8.38 with VAT. This isn’t just your run of the mill ice cream, the KS stuff is comparable to a very high quality premium ice cream. It is creamy with the perfect vanilla flavour. If I had a bigger freezer I would certainly be picking some of this up, unfortunately for me, I just don’t have room in my tiny freezer. Though…..maybe I can figure out a clever way to fit it all in. This ice cream is excellent for making nice thick milk shakes too. And with the £5.00 off coupon for a Kenwood Super Compact Blender (final price £21.58 with VAT), you’ll have the perfect way to make a delicious milk shake at home too. The blender is really nice too because it can blend and mill, plus it comes with a smoothie pitcher.
