The new Costco US coupon book starts on Thursday, August 7, and runs for the rest of August, until August 31. In the coupon this month there’s a nice savings of $1,400.00 in warehouse savings and another $7,300.00 in online only deals. It seems like they’ve got a lot of my favourite Costco buys in this coupon book! It is a great time to stock up on cleaning supplies and household staples for sure though. I’m really pleased that there are only three coupons that require you to show the cashier your actual coupon book or the app on your phone.
This month I have uploaded the new Costco US Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) , but you can also view the warehouse coupons on the Costco.com website. If you weren’t aware, Costco has updated their coupon policy for “streamlined savings”. Basically, that means that you won’t have to clip coupons (if you ever needed to for your location anyway) again, but instead you can just show the cashier the coupon book to redeem any offers marked with a blue arrow (which will make more sense when you see the coupon book). Or, if that is too much for you to remember to bring, you can get the latest Costco smartphone app that will allow you to use the coupons in the app for in-store redemption. So, if you’ve got a smartphone and haven’t downloaded the Costco app yet, this is the perfect reason to do so. You can get the app for either iPhone or Android in their respective app stores. The only coupons that you must have the app or coupon book to redeem are the ones with the blue arrow, but there are plenty of instant savings deals as well. For many they didn’t have to clip coupons anyway, so this isn’t necessarily all that different. The one big change is that Costco says that they will no longer have extra copies of the coupon book available at the warehouses. If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail. Or, just use the Costco smartphone app. Lastly, you can also view them on the Costco.com website. Costco has recently started posting the coupons online and through the app before they actually start (like just a few days after the old ones expire), so that makes it easier and nicer for planning too.
As usual, there’s a coupon for $70.00 off a set of new tires; this month the brand of choice is Bridgestone. This is one of the coupons that will require you to show either your physical coupon book or the app. You can also take advantage of this deal through Costco.com. If you are gearing up for back to school time and all the driving for the new school year, this is a great time to use the coupon.
If you’ve got a baby, there are a couple of great coupons for you this month. There’s a coupon for $5.00 off a giant box of 1,160 Huggies Natural Care Plus Baby Wipes. There’s also a coupon for $6.00 off a box of Huggies Snug and Dry Plus diapers, sizes 1 – 6. You can take advantage of these deals at either Costco or Costco.com.
There are so many great products having coupons this month, I hardly know where to start, honestly. But there are two coupons that I think are real stand-outs this month: the Buy One, Get One Free offers on Finish Powerball Dishwasher Tablets and Jet Dry. I love both of these products and with the opportunity to buy one, get one free there is just no way you can possibly pass them up. Running the dishwasher is something you are going to do often (if you’re like me, probably once a day), so there’s no reason you can’t find a place to store the compact Finish Powerball Tablets and a couple of bottles of Jet Dry. At Costco you get a box of 110 Powerball Tablets in a box, so getting four of these (pay for two, get two for free) is a brilliant idea to keep your dishes sparkling clean for a year. Plus, that means there’s one less thing you have to remember to put on your shopping list for the next year and you’ve saved 50% too! The 32 ounce bottle of Jet Dry Rinse Aid is the same situation because if you get two bottles of it now, then you’re set for the year at a huge savings as well. Buying Finish Powerball at Costco with this terrific Buy One, Get One offers means that you are saving 40 – 50% over retailers like Amazon or Walmart, even if you get them through Costco.com and include the shipping; you’ll save 42% buying through Costco.com and 51% by buying from the warehouses when compared to the best deals at Amazon or Walmart. You’ll be saving 33 – 55% on the Finish Jet Dry by using this deal at either Costco.com or Costco warehouses too, when compared to Amazon or Walmart’s best deals. Seriously, you are crazy if you pass these up and don’t take full advantage of them.
So there are at least 20 other coupons in this August coupon book that I love, but that’s way too many for me to blather on about without serious boredom setting in for everyone reading this post. Wow! There are so many good coupons this month in the US, I’m definitely jealous. For me, this is the best book in a number of months. There are just so many great deals on really good products. If we were in the US right now, I’d be spending a fortune at Costco this month so that I could stock up my pantry, freezer, and cleaning supplies for months and months. And did I mention that exceptional deal on Finish Powerball Tabs & Jet Dry? Happy saving!
