Costco UK Coupon Book: November 3 – 23, 2014

November 1st, 2014 · 2 Comments

The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday, November 3, and runs until the last week of the month, November 23.  This new coupon book has considerably less in savings than the last book, with just £800.00 in it.  You can feel the hint of the holidays in the air with the products they have in the coupon book this time.  Since there are only a couple of coupon books left until Christmas, you have to keep that in mind when you look through your coupon book.   This month they have a special section of the coupon book dedicated to Max Factor makeup, also they will be doing in-store demonstrations every weekend during the coupon book on Thursdays through Sundays.

I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer).  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes and they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items.  I love this method of couponing and I’m glad to see that it seems all Costco locations in the world are following suit.  I do still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  Of course, they often hand you a copy of the coupon book when you walk in the store or have them sitting there so you can grab one as you enter. I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.  If you sign up to receive emails from, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online, usually the weekend before the new book starts.  Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there; you can also find a link to it on the Warehouses Offers webpage.

If you’re going to be doing some holiday travel, or need a new set of tyres before all the slick, wet and icy winter weather, Costco has a great coupon this month.  You can get £50.00 off a new set of four Michelin tyres installed at your closest Costco Tyre Centre.  The tyres at Costco are filled with Nitrogen, which they say will give you better handling and fuel efficiency.  With the coupon you can get tyres for pretty much any vehicle – passenger car, taxi, van, or 4×4.   The only bad thing is that you can only get new tyres for two cars with this deal.

Some of my favourite holiday-time (or anytime of year really) chocolates have great deals in this latest coupon book.  My very favourite, Ferrero Rochers are £3.00 off for a five pack of boxes that contain 16 each.  So, you’re getting a total of 80 Ferrero Rocher for £14.38 with VAT (and after the discount).  And they are so good with the wonderful mixture of chocolate and hazelnuts.  Yum!  If hazelnuts aren’t your thing, there are also a couple of deals on Lindt chocolates too.  You can get £1.00 off a 500 gram Lindt Lindor Maxi Ball, which opens up to become a bowl that contains about 44 milk chocolate truffles.  With the discount, your giant Lindor treat will be £8.38 with VAT.  Or, if you’d like a variety of delicious chocolates you can get £3.00 off a 400 gram box of Lindt Creation Dessert.  This looks like a tasty collection of beautiful, and no doubt tasty, chocolate treats.

This month you can also get £2.30 off a big 1.2 kilogram box of Rodeo Joe’s Jalapeno Flamers; £5.99 after the discount.  These are delicious!  Sometimes they split open when you bake them, but for the most part they remain intact.  They have the perfect mix of jalapeno, cheese, and breading.  We get these quite often and have them by themselves, or maybe with a dip, while watching sports.  However, sometimes we cook a couple when we’re having steaks too, just for a little something different.

My favourite toothbrushes, Sonicare, have coupons this month too.  You can get £25.00 off the Sonicare Diamond Clean Technology brush that comes with a travel case.  The toothbrush is £89.98 with VAT, which might seem like a lot, but these last so long that I think they’re worth it.  Not to mention, your teeth will feel so clean and great, that your dentist won’t give you “the look” at your next appointment.  And if you’ve got kids, they’ve now got a Sonicare toothbrush for little ones, and this month it is £10.00 off for a final price of £47.98 with VAT.  The Sonicare for Kids can be used by kids four and up, has four additional heads, plus, you get stickers to personalize it too.  For the ultimate, clean teeth and fresh breath, you can also pick up a three pack of 500 ml bottles of Colgate Plax alcohol free mouthwash for £4.48 with VAT (after £1.25 off).  I use this everyday and think it really does keep everything in your mouth fresh and clean throughout the day.  It will last for 12 hours so if you use it  before bed you won’t have to worry about waking up with morning breath, either.  And my dentists says you really need to only use the alcohol free mouthwashes because the stuff with alcohol can cause real problems for your delicate tissue inside your mouth, including cancer.

Those are just a few of my favourite coupons this month.  There are also some great deals for the month at, so don’t forget to take a look through there if you are planning on getting a start on your holiday gift shopping.

There is a package of delicious and pretty authentic tasting-as in NY Deli-pastrami from a company that has “New York” on the label. What bothers me is the fat content on the label says 1 gram of fat and 0 saturated fat. There is no way this is even remotely accurate. If you warm it up in a frying pan, a ton of fat remains in the pan. I tried to call the vendor directly but got no response and was ignored. Is anyone familiar with this product and agrees that Costco should investigate and question the label.

Too bad that Christmas ornament sound tree wasn’t on sale for 98% off (£300 or so). I’d order it online deliverable to me for that. It’s cool, but it isn’t $25,000 worth of cool.

I’d devour the 1.2 kilo Jalapeno Flamers in a night. That’s why I never buy boxes of poppers – I have the self control to walk buy them in the store, but once I buy and get them home it’s all over. Same thing goes for Rocky Road ice cream – gone!
