Costco UK Coupon Book: November 24 – December 14, 2014

November 21st, 2014 · No Comments

The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday, November 24, and runs until the second half of December, December 14.  This new coupon book has even less in savings than the last book, with just £700.00, which was considerably less than the previous one in October.  However, there are plenty of really good deals and a few things that are definitely on my list to pick up.  You can definitely feel the holiday party atmosphere in this latest bunch of coupons because a lot of it is for liquor, wine, and beer.  There are a number of chocolates and other food items that will be great for parties too.

Costco UK Coupon Book: November 24 – December 14, 2014

I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer).  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes and they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items.  I love this method of couponing and I’m glad to see that it seems all Costco locations in the world are following suit.  I do still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  Of course, they often hand you a copy of the coupon book when you walk in the store or have them sitting there so you can grab one as you enter. I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.  If you sign up to receive emails from, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online, usually the weekend before the new book starts.  Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there; you can also find a link to it on the Warehouses Offers webpage.

I know they’re not fun, or particularly holiday-ish, but the one thing that I am most excited by in this latest coupon book is the Joseph Joseph Cutting Boards set.  I bought my current set, at Costco of course, when we first got to London in 2010 and the boards are pretty well scarred and in need of replacing but I haven’t seen them at Costco since I decided to get a new set.  So, I’m thrilled to see this new set.  Plus, the new set has six boards instead of the four that I have.  The boards are colour coded so you don’t have cross contamination worries, plus they come with a handy stand up storage case.  I love the case because that means I can keep these on my countertop and they are easily at hand when I need them.  The dishwasher safe cutting boards are 300x200mm (11.8×7.9 inches) which is a good size, and a bit bigger than my older set.  With this new coupon book you can get £5.00 off, which means that the final price is £29.98 with VAT.  This is about the same price that you would have to pay at Amazon for these cutting boards, except the set at Amazon only has four boards instead of six.  And the prices someplace like John Lewis are positively shocking in comparison, for the set of four boards.  So, if you too have been looking to get a new set of cutting boards, these are great and you aren’t going to get a better deal on them anywhere else.  For what it’s worth, I’ve only been able to find the six board set at Costco.

Here’s another thing that isn’t going to make it onto anyone’s Christmas list, except mine probably.  But I love the Snap-On LED Hybrid Light!  The top is a flashlight, but the fancy part is hiding in the handle.  When you pull the head up, you extend an auto-on work light.  Since the lights are LEDs, the light will be very white and very bright, which is just what I want in a flashlight.  I like this multi-purpose type of light because sometimes you need just a flashlight but sometimes you really require more.  You can get £2.00 off for a final price of £11.98 (including VAT).  I do wish that you could tell how big it is but in any case, I’m definitely adding this to my list of things to get from this new bunch of deals.

Okay, I think I’ve made it clear on my blog how much I love prosciutto.  A lot, just in case you are new around here.  So, when I saw the coupon for £10.00 off 1/2 a Parma ham leg (prosciutto di parma), I was amazed.  And jealous because even I know that there is no conceivable way I can work my way through a 3 kilogram Parma ham before it would start getting very funky and trying to walk itself out of my fridge.  But a girl can dream.  After the discount, the big 3 kilo Parma ham leg will be £34.99 (no VAT) and definitely the star of your holiday party.

If you’re looking for a nice, compact, easy to use camera to take your all important holiday snaps, the Canon PowerShot SX600 might be for you.  It is a 16 megapixel camera with 18x zoom and Wifi.  I love my Canon point and shoot camera because it is easy to use but takes really great photos.  I’ve had two different Canon point and shoot cameras like this and loved them both and felt they were far, far superior to my Sony  or Panasonic cameras.  My big DSLR is a Canon that I bought partly because I knew that if their point and shoots were so great than their full DSLR would be really outstanding and it is.  My PowerShot takes very crisp photos, even at night or low light (have to change settings a bit to get the optimal night shots though) and the colours are true to life as well.  The nice thing about the deal at Costco is that you also get a carrying case and a Gorillapod.  I love my Gorillapod too because it allows me to get great stills at night even when the surface is uneven or you have to wrap it around a tree or something.  With the new coupon book, you can save £30.00 off this set at Costco, with a final price of just £113.98 with VAT.  And this is a smoking deal at Costco, because at Amazon this same set will cost you £154.00, plus £4.96 shipping.

So, those are my favourite things in the new coupon book, but there are plenty of other terrific deals too.  If you’re looking for some wine or liquor for you holiday parties, or even as a gift, then you’ll definitely want to check out this bunch of deals.
