Costco UK Coupon Book: February 23 – March 15, 2015

February 21st, 2015 · No Comments

The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday and runs until the middle of March, March 15th.  There’s more than £500.00 worth of savings and there are lots of good deals.  There’s a special bunch of coupons for your spring cleaning needs, though I think I’ve seen just as good of a selection of cleaning supplies in their regular coupon books too.  What is nice is that they are going to be having demonstrations for a number of the cleaning supplies and they have the dates for those marked on the coupons.  There are a lot of coupons that caught my eye in this new book.  And as always, there are a number of online only deals that they point out that cover a wide variety of products.

I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer).  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes and they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items.  I love this method of couponing and I’m glad to see that it seems all Costco locations in the world are following suit.  I do still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  Of course, they often hand you a copy of the coupon book when you walk in the store or have them sitting there so you can grab one as you enter. I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.  If you sign up to receive emails from, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online, usually the weekend before the new book starts.  Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there; you can also find a link to it on the Warehouses Offers webpage.

There are a fair number of coupons that I know we will definitely be using from this coupon book, one of which is for my favourite toothpaste.  I almost bought some of this the last time we were at Costco but decided to hold off and wait to see if there would be a coupon soon, and obviously, I was right.  You can get £2.80 off a four pack of 75ml tubes of Oral-B ProExpert toothpaste with this new coupon book, with VAT that makes the four pack just £6.82.  This provides your teeth with good all around protection and keeps them truly squeaky clean.  I’ve been using this for a couple of years now and my dentist has even noticed how clean they are when I come in for my cleanings.  Costco definitely offers the best price on this because this toothpaste is usually £3.50 per tube at any other retailer; some of them have a “deal” on now where you can get two tubes for £5.00.  So, you can pretty easily see the value of purchasing this at Costco.

Gillette has a new fancy razor for men so they have a four page special section in the coupon book.  It’s one of their Fusion Proglide razors but with Flexball technology.  Think of it like the Dyson ball for your face.  It’s got a ball that will allow the razor to pivot around more easily dealing with all the contours of your face (allegedly).  And if that weren’t enough, it’s got power and a trimmer on the other end.  With the £2.00 off coupon you can try out this new razor along with five blades for £21.58 with VAT.  That seems pretty steep.  So, if you want to just stick with your regular Gillette razor, you can four cans of Gillette shave gel free when you purchase any of the Fusion blades.  I personally don’t like these package deals and would just prefer they had a coupon for some amount off of each of these items separately.  Luckily we bought Dave a new pack of blades on our last trip to Costco when they were discounted.

Back in September 2014 I wrote about the TerraFertil Goldenberries that we had bought at Costco.  They are super tart but have lots of good nutritional value.   In a 100 gram serving of goldenberries you will get 21.9 grams of fibre, 5.6 grams of protein, 1200mg of potassium or 60% of your RDA, 2.6mg of iron or 19% of your RDA, 97.1mg of magnesium or 26% of RDA, 21.5mg of vitamin C or 27% of the RDA, and 294 calories.  Now they’ve not only got a coupon for them, but they will also have the juice too.  And even better, they will be doing in-store product demonstrations for the berries and the juice from February 23 – March 2, so you can try them both for yourself.  I’m not a huge tartness fan, so it too me a few tries to actually start enjoying these, and I definitely found it better to add them to something to temper the tartness.  You can get £1.50 off the 567 gram bag of the berries, making them £5.99.  Or you can get 6, 1 litre containers of the Goldenberry Juice for £3.00 off, making the juice £9.58 (with VAT).  I’ve never tried the juice but I’m really curious what it is like.  I wonder if it is as tart as just eating the berries.

It’s that time of year when you might have decided it is the perfect time to clean out all of your old financial records from the previous year, since you’ve probably gotten your taxes all completed.  And if you’re going to do that then you definitely want to get a decent shredder.  Even if you are a good kid and always keep your records tidy, you still should have a shredder.  In this new coupon book you can get £10.00 off a Fellowes Cross-Cut Shredder; final cost of £47.98 with VAT.  The cross cut style shred really makes it almost impossible to piece things back together and makes it perfect for keeping your records or papers private.  This shredder will cross cuts paper into 4 x 50mm sized pieces, security level Din P-3.  I’m not sure about the security level rating but that’s a pretty small piece.  It can also shred 10 pages at a time and go through staples or paper clips.  This shredder can also shred up your old credit cards.  When you need to empty it the head pops off and you can dump out your shredded bits easily.  Plus, with this coupon it’s about £12.00 less than buying it from Amazon.  To me a shredder is like a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector: a piece of safety equipment that every home should have now.
