The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday and runs through the last middle of July, the 19th. In this new coupon book there is £480.00 in savings, which is a bit more than the previous book. I’ve certainly seen better coupon offerings (though, not so much lately), so I’m a little meh about the offerings again this month. Hopefully, there will be more that appeals to everyone else and I’m just being overly picky.
I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer). If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail. Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store. In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages, without the codes, and they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I love this method of couponing and I’m glad to see that it seems all Costco locations in the world are following suit. I do still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon. Of course, they often hand you a copy of the coupon book when you walk in the store or have them sitting there so you can grab one as you enter. I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping. If you sign up to receive emails from Costco.co.uk, they will send you an email to let you know when the new coupon book is available online, usually the weekend before the new book starts. Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there or you can find a link to it on the Warehouse Offers webpage.
For those of you planning a summer road trip, now is the ideal time to get a new set of tyres from Costco because there is a £50.00 off deal for a set of four Michelin tyres. You can get your new tyres fitted by the Costco Tyre Centre and be ready to go see the country by car! All of the fitting at Costco is done by certified City and Guilds certified staff and includes valve, balancing, disposal, rotation, and fitting using nitrogen. You can find out more about the Costco Tyre Centre and where your closest one is online.
If you are planning a car trip, you’ll probably want to start off with a nice clean car, and you’ll definitely want to clean it up afterward. Costco has a trio of coupons for items that should make your car sparkle, even if you’re doing nothing more than running to the shops. There is a coupon for £1.80 off a Simoniz 3 Step Wheel Cleaner Kit that comes with a 500ml Ultracare Alloy Cleaner, 500ml Back to Black Tyre Shine, and 300ml Complete Wheel Protector; £8.62 with VAT after discount. So even if you don’t get new tyres, they’ll look like it. There’s also a coupon for £5.00 off the Meguires Car Care Kit that comes with everything you need to wash and wax the exterior and clean up the interior too; £23.98 with VAT after discount. If you’re like me and always end up getting streaks on your windscreen, then you might want to consider the Karcher Window Vac WV5. It is a bit pricey at £62.38 with VAT after the £8.00 off coupon, however, you can use it on windows and mirrors in your house too. Even though they’re not on coupon, I highly recommend the big pack of yellow Kirkland Signature microfibre towels for all of your cleaning needs. They were £9.99 for 36 towels when I bought them a year ago and they are well worth it (read my review from last year).
If you like the big salmon fillets at Costco, you will be pleased to see the coupon for £5.00 off. The Atlantic Salmon Fillets are trimmed to Costco specifications and are deboned as well. For people like me that aren’t fans of the skin on their salmon, this is a good way to buy it because they’ve already skinned it too. The final price after the £5.00 off will depend on how big your piece of salmon is (as I’m sure you all know). I like these big salmon fillets and we buy these quite often. They are nice for summer because you can make a lot of lighter meals with salmon I think, it just seems to go with summer foods. If you’ve got a grill, these are excellent grilled on a cedar plank. We used to do that a lot in Austin and when we had people over for dinner they always loved it too.
If you wear glasses and like to have a spare pair around, Costco Optical has a great deal this month that allows you to get £40.00 off your second pair of frames and lenses. The only catch is that you have to buy both pairs of glasses at the same time and they have to be for the same person. It would be great if they would allow you to get a pair for you and someone else I think but they’ve never done that no matter how much I keep hoping they will. In any case, saving £40.00 on something that can be so pricey is always great and maybe that means that you feel okay getting some fancy designer frames for one pair of glasses.
As I said, not a whole lot in this book has me excited, but hopefully there will be something great that you’ve been wanting.
