The new Costco UK coupon book started on Monday and runs through November 22. In this new coupon book there is a really great £800.00 in savings, which is less than the previous book but they do still have plenty of good deals. Sorry I’m late getting this posted, but hopefully it didn’t cause an issue for anyone.
I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer). If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail. Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store. In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages, without the codes, and they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I love this method of couponing and I’m glad to see that it seems all Costco locations in the world are following suit. I do still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon. Of course, they often hand you a copy of the coupon book when you walk in the store or have them sitting there so you can grab one as you enter. I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping. If you sign up to receive emails from Costco.co.uk, they will send you an email to let you know when the new coupon book is available online, usually the weekend before the new book starts. Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there or you can find a link to it on the Warehouse Offers webpage.
It isn’t often that there’s a coupon for new tyres, so when there is I try to make sure I point it out. This month you can save £50.00 off a new set of four Michelin tyres for your car, truck, or van. You bring in your car and Costco does all of the hard work while you do your shopping. Since Winter is threatening to start any day now, it might be the perfect time to get a new set of tyres for the upcoming bad weather. There’s nothing worse in slick, snowy or icy Winter weather than a practically bald set of tyres. And since I keep hearing how horrible the weather is going to be this Winter, it seems wise to be prepared.
Earlier this year, I bought the Joseph Joseph Cutting Board set and would highly recommend it. I was actually buying a replacement for my old set that I had for five years and was certainly needing to be replaced. You can only use the plasticky boards for so long before they are scraped and cut to the point that I think they are probably not so food-safe anymore. I really like that the four, colour-coded boards come with a stand so that you can keep them at hand and looking nice on your countertop. Plus, they have little silicone “feet” on both sides of the board so that it doesn’t slip and slide on your counter when you’re using it. The sets that Costco has now are a bit larger than my old set, which is great; the boards in this set are 29.5 x 20 cm. It’s a big enough size that you can chop with ease but not so big that they are cumbersome or hard to clean in the dishwasher. With this coupon book you can save £5.00 for a final price of £29.98 with VAT.
Some of my favourite sweet treats are on offer in this latest bunch of coupons. Every year at this time, I buy the big five pack (16 chocolates in each pack) of Ferrero Rocher. I always think I’m going to be able to resist but I never do because they are just too delicious. I love the mix of chocolate and hazelnuts. I also like that they are individually wrapped so I can treat myself to one at a time and manage to maintain a bit of control. The coupon is for £3.30 off, which makes them £14.98 with VAT. That’s just £3.00 per box and a much better deal than you are likely to find at other supermarkets or retailers where a single box is £3.50 – £4.00. So if you are like me and have to have these for the Winter, definitely get them now at Costco. There are also coupons for two Lindt products. I’m a fan of the Lindt chocolate because it is so silky smooth and lovely. I like the Lindor truffles and like them even better when I can get a deal at Costco. They have a coupon for £1.00 off a Lindt Lindo Maxi Ball which contains a bunch of the Lindor truffles insides; final price is £8.68 with VAT. I’ve never bought this, I usually just get the box of them but this would make a cute gift for someone.
And since I just talked about sweets, which we all know are not the way to win the heart of your dentist, I will now have to point out the very good deal in this book on the Philips Sonicare toothbrush. You can get £20.00 off the Sonicare Flexcare+ with UV Sanitiser, making it just £65.98 with VAT. Since these seem to be more like £100.00 at other retailers, I think this is an outstanding deal. We got rid of our old Sonicare when we moved (we’d had it for probably 12 years at least and it was starting to have charging issues) but we absolutely loved it. It is remarkably good at cleaning your teeth without being harsh to your enamel or gums. If you are an aggressive brusher, like I am, this is the perfect way to avoid that tendency but still get that fresh from the dentist clean teeth feeling. They also do a better job at keeping stains off of your teeth from things like tea and coffee. I love that this comes with a UV sanitiser that fits two brush heads so that you can keep your toothbrush germ free, which seems even more important during Winter with the constant barrage of cold and flu germs. This is such a good deal I might actually have to take advantage of this and get a new Sonicare. And if you do already have a Sonicare, there’s also a good deal in this bunch of coupons for £6.00 off an 8 pack of brush heads. After the discount the price is £28.78 with VAT; that’s £3.60 per brush head.
