Introducing Part the Red C

September 26th, 2008 · 2 Comments

A couple of posts ago, I talked about my joy (and shock) that I am not the only person dedicating blog posts to Costco.  On that post I got a comment from Dan at Part the Red C inviting me to stop by his Costco blog.  So, I checked it out the other day.  It’s interesting because he covers things that I haven’t and certainly offers another opinion.  He covers a bit more Costco in the News type topics than I have; sometimes I just can’t keep up with what I want to say about Costco and what others (more professional journalist types) are saying about it too. One of the things he mentions is a cool Firefox plug-in for searching  I might have to give that a try.

Part the Red C looks to only be a little over a month old, but you should all go check it out and add it to your bookmarks for a viewpoint from another Costco fanatic.

Ha! That’s funny, I get the Google alerts for Costco too! There’s a bunch of stuff in there that would take forever to find just by searching, if you even could. Most of that of course, is about the new locations that they are building or have just opened. That’s why Google is almost as lovable as Costco. LOL

in the past, I wanted to start a Costco consumer support & news website, but never got to it for personal reasons, I’m glad to see this site and others making a difference. in the past I found a yahoo group for Costco employees but it never seemed active, that would have been great place to get insider news :-). Another way to get Costco news is to sign up for ‘Google Alerts’, let it search ‘Costco’, it will send you a daily e-mail filled with stories containing news about Costco around the country and the world, I can send you a copy if you contact me.
