Give Costco a Little Feedback

September 30th, 2008 · 8 Comments

Costco Member FeedbackHave you ever been at Costco and really wanted to give them a little feedback about the store, or the coupons, or products?  Well, I’m trying to make it a little easier for you by posting the comment form right here.  That way, you can collect your thoughts at home, write it all down, and then just drop your completed comment form off on your next Costco visit.

I have to admit this is not a purely altruistic gesture. I’ve been wanting to give Costco some feedback on products that they’ve stopped carrying and it’ll be so much easier to collect all the information like manufacturer, item number, price, etc. when I’m at home.  My memory isn’t that good that I can recall all that when I’m there in the store!

Filling out the form is really simple.  Just print out the image from here and then all you have to do is fill in the necessary information.  They give you plenty of space to write in your opinions, thoughts, or whatever, and then you have a place to put your name, membership number, and your phone number.  In our Austin store, the comment box is right by the exit door making it nice and easy to chuck it in there on your way out the door.

My wife had a violent stomach problem with and we ate the same thing except she had consumed some Island Way sorbet.
Not saying this is the cause just wanted to know if there was a recall or if someone had experienced the same.

I believe that the ‘wallet of savings’ is what they send to the Executive Members only. The big, wide coupon book that I talked about just recently, is the type that they send to all of the members. At least, this is the way I understand it to be. Of course, I’m also an Executive Member, so I get them all too.

I been told by a top level manger(the ones you don’t see on the floor) at my local Costco(NW TUCSON) that not everyone get all the coupons, executive members coupons are more then the basic membership coupons, it seems everyone gets the Costco passport coupon book, but not everyone gets the manufactures coupon book that Costco send in the mail, I have no idea if this true or not since I’m an executive member and it seems to me that I do get all the coupons…Any feedback?

Thanks for the info, Pat. There have been a number of people that have complained to me that they don’t receive the coupon books. It’s good to know that it is possible that it is just a 5 minute job to get it all fixed up. Wouldn’t want to miss out on those coupon books!

We weren’t receiving any coupon books by mail either and it turned out to be a simple fix. When we signed up for membership, we had checked a box about not wanting our mailing information given out.

Apparently, there are two different ways for the mailing promo code to be entered. One means you get no mailings at all, the other means that you get coupons etc but not other stuff.

This was a few years ago, so I may not have the details exactly right, but it was a simple click of a button at the membership desk and voila, coupons started arriving.

Hey Jim, just so you know, I am in no way affiliated with Costco. So, I can’t get this situation fixed up for you, however, I can give you a little advice on how to go about doing so.

You want to send you message to the Costco Customer Support people through their online form. You can find the form here:

Hopefully that will be the help you need to get your coupon book actually sent to you. Of course, there was a post here recently that some stores are not mailing them out anymore, so you have to go pick it up at the warehouse.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
We have not received a coupon book by mail this year. What do I have to do to start receiving this on a regular basis. Please send the current book now. I know we have missed out on a lot of you sale because we had no knowledge of them. This is a simple process called marketing. Spreading the word.

Our family membership # is XXXXXXXXXXXXX.

    Thank you.

    Jim Landis
