Costco UK Coupon Book: March 21 – April 10, 2011

March 21st, 2011 · 2 Comments

Just like last month, Costco UK isn’t allowing any lag time in between coupon books.  This latest Costco UK Coupon Book runs from March 21 through April 10.  The first thing I noticed was that they have another coupon for the Finish dishwasher tablets again this month, makes for three coupon books in a row now I believe.  And there’s another coupon for Velvet toilet tissue, as well as Comfort fabric conditioner.  However, there is much more savings this month than either of the last two months: £930.00.

I’ve uploaded the latest Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) so you can browse it if you haven’t gotten yours yet.  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  Here in the UK I never have to actually give them the coupons, and they don’t seem interested in taking them from people that have cut them out even.

There seem to be a lot of coupons in this coupon book, that have been on offer in one of the other most recent coupon books as well, or more in the case of Finish.  So, that’s good news for those of you that might have missed out on some of these deals from previous months, or maybe you already need more of whatever it is.  However, this repeat in coupons also means that you might not be that impressed with the offerings in this latest book.

And of course, there’s a coupon for Optifree contact lens solution which I just bought, when there was no coupon of course, and at the time I was thinking I should hold off since I wasn’t completely out.  It’s so annoying when that happens, huh?  I was really hoping that there would be a coupon for Persil laundry tablets this month since I’m running low, but no such luck.

Take that contact solution back if it’s not opened. They rebuy it with your coupon! I did that with ink for my printer. No problems at all.

Notice how the UK coupon book looks like the US one now? (On the outside at least)

Regarding UK cashiers not needing the actual coupons:
The giant barcode that is printed on the inside cover is attached to every till, at the end of any transaction, the cashier scans this barcode with their scanner gun and it tells the till to check for coupons. If it finds any it will automatically deduct them, albeit slowly.

You might wonder why they would bother printing coupons, but they are very important in getting members to visit their Costco, and also for the cashiers if something goes wrong at the till.
