Costco UK Coupon Book: August 1 – 28, 2011

August 2nd, 2011 · 2 Comments

While this coupon book may only run until the end of the month, just 28 days really, I think there are still some good deals to be found in it.  This month there are savings of just £800.00; that’s around £270.00 more than the previous coupon book.  There seem to be a fair amount of cleaning supplies and food items, but also a fair selection of electronics as well.

Costco UK Coupon Book: August 1 - 28, 2011

I’ve uploaded the latest Costco UK Coupon Book PDF(or view it in the Google PDF viewer) so you can browse it if you haven’t gotten yours yet.  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  Here in the UK I never have to actually give them the coupons, and they don’t seem interested in taking them from people that have cut them out either.  But I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.

There seems to be a pretty good mix of coupons this month.  But as I said, there seem to be several coupons for cleaning supplies.  There’s a coupon for Finish dishwasher tablets, even though I think there was one in the last couple of coupon books as well.  But if you bought those already, this month you can get deals on these other cleaning items:  Daz, Vanish, Cillit Bang, Flash with bleach, Dettol, Comfort, Fairy non-bio, Bold tablets, and Persil Small & Mighty.  You can assure that you have clean dishes, clothing, and surfaces for months to come and at a savings too.

There are some good coupons for small kitchen electrics too.  There’s a £30.00 off coupon on a Kenwood Chef Premier mixer.  While the £30.00 off is generous, you’re still going to have to pay quite a bit for this mixer since the final price is still £187.99 without VAT or £225.58 with VAT.  This looks like a fairly decent deal since places online have it for a little bit more, to a whole lot more, depending on where you shop.  There’s also a £10.00 coupon for  the Kenwood Multi Pro Food Processor FP264.  That means you’ll have a final price of £55.99 without VAT or £67.18 with VAT.  The food processor definitely seems like a really great deal because the prices I’ve found online for it are much higher, like around £25 – 30.00 higher, so it’s a good deal even without the coupon.

There are lots of other great things to check out too, so be sure to take a look through before your next trip to Costco!

Thanks for the info on visiting UK Costco stores back in your July 5, 2011 post. I leave London tomorrow and never had a chance to get to a Costco. I only had 7 days, and there were other places to visit with a higher priority. I guess I’ll have to visit vicariously through this blog, until perhaps I can return.
