Costco UK Coupon Book: August 13 – September 2, 2012

August 13th, 2012 · 1 Comment

The latest Costco UK coupon book starts today, 13 August , and runs through 2 September.  So, that means you’ve got right around 3 weeks to use your coupons this month.  This coupon book has £650.00 in savings, which is pretty much exactly the same as last month’s coupon book.  There’s a nice insert highlighting this month’s deals on Costco services, such as Costco Optical’s coupon for £30.00 off a second pair of frames or lenses or 50% off enlargements through Costco Photo Centre.

Costco UK Coupon Book: August 13 – September 2, 2012

I’ve uploaded the latest Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) so you can browse it if you haven’t gotten yours yet.  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes, so they clearly do not want you to clip the coupons out and give them to your cashier; they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items. I still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  I usually download a copy of the PDF I post to my iPhone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.

There are coupons for some of my favourite things to buy at Costco UK.  There’s a nice coupon for Original Source Shower Gel, where you can buy 2 of the 6 packs for £10.00 (£12.00 with VAT), which is a savings of £6.98.  I love the lemon and tea tree scented shower gel and will definitely be stocking up on it thanks to this coupon.  There’s also a great coupon for the best blades any lady can have for shaving her legs: Gillette Venus Blades.  The coupons is for £3.50 off a 12 pack, which menas you’ll pay £11.98 with VAT.  There’s also a coupon for my favourite beef jerky product.  I really love the Mariani beef jerky in original flavour.  This coupon lets you save 40%, or £2.72 less, for a final price of £4.07.

There’s a coupon for £20.00 off a Canon EOS600D camera that I’m interested in getting, I think.  I am in the market for a more robust camera than my current point and shoot, so I’m trying to make up my mind if this is the camera for me or not.  It gets pretty good reviews but I still need to think about it a bit more.  At Costco you get the 18-55 mmm lens plus a gear bag for your fancy new 18 megapixel camera.  Granted £20.00 off isn’t much, considering the price, but every little bit helps, right?  After the £20.00 savings, you’re still looking at a price of £539.98 with VAT.  So yeah, I’m going to have to definitely give this some serious thought before I purchase it.
Aside from those, there are lots of other great coupons that I’m likely to use this month, for electronics, clothing, kitchen electrics, and lots of cleaning supplies.  I’m sure there are plenty of coupons that will catch the  attention of other shoppers.

THANK YOU for posting this – I was trying to work out when the next book was coming and time my visit to coincide with it.
Hmm don’t see anything that I really need right now though.
    By The Way:
That Canon camera you like retails at £515 on amazon – I use invisible hand add on in my browser (firefox) to show me where the best price is – with the coupon at costco it’s £539.98. I don’t know what extras you get with the Amazon system I didn’t look but it’s there on Amazon . co .uk if you want to take a look.
I was interested in the Panasonic DAB microsystem (schc25dbebk) is retailing at only £89.99 on Amazon, but the price with the coupon at costco is £101.98.

Have fun, keep up the great work.
