Costco US Coupon Book: November 21 – December 15, 2013

November 18th, 2013 · 6 Comments

The next Costco US coupon book starts this Thursday, November 21 and runs through the first two weeks of December (December 15).  This latest coupon book starts right after the current one expires on November 20 (so you’ve still got a couple of days to shop those coupons).  I hope this is a new trend for Costco US because I like it when the coupon books follow right after one another, like they do for Costco UK.   This coupon book has $1,800.00 in savings for the warehouses, which is a bit more than the previous book.  There’s also an additional $6,000.00 in savings, which is quite a bit less than last month.   There are some excellent coupons for items that can take some of the stress out of preparing for the holidays.

Also, if you’re in the US, don’t forget that I offer a $25.00 Costco cash card reward for the Black Friday coupon book!  I have’t gotten a copy of it yet, so you could be the first to send it to me!

Costco US Coupon Book: November 21 – December 15, 2013

I’ve uploaded the new Costco US Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) so you can browse it if you haven’t gotten yours yet.  If you weren’t aware, Costco had updated their coupon policy for “streamlined savings”.  Basically, that means that you won’t have to clip coupons (if you ever needed to for your location anyway) again, but instead you can just show the cashier the coupon book.  Or, if that is too much for you to remember to bring, you can get the latest Costco smartphone app that will allow you to use the coupons in the app for in-store redemption.  Now all you have to do to redeem the coupons is show the cashier your smartphone with the Costco app or the Costco coupon book.  So, if you’ve got a smartphone and haven’t downloaded the Costco app yet, this is the perfect reason to do so.  You can get the app for either iPhone or Android in their respective app stores.  The only coupons that you must have the app or coupon book to redeem are the ones with the blue arrow, but there are still plenty of instant savings deals as well.  For many they didn’t have to clip coupons anyway, so this isn’t necessarily all that different.  The one big change is that Costco says that they will no longer have extra copies of the coupon book available at the warehouses.   If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Or, just use the Costco smartphone app but they aren’t visible until the coupons start.  Lastly, you can also view them on the website but they’re only available when the coupon book is active, so again no preview, but that’s what you have me for!

As usual, there’s a coupon for $70.00 off a set of new tires; this month the brand of choice is Bridgestone.  This is one of the coupons that will require you to show either your physical coupon book or the app.  You can also take advantage of this deal through and it is good through December 22; valid a week longer than the rest of the coupons in the book. This is a great time to get some new tires to prepare for all that fun driving required for the winter holidays and family get togethers!  You can get new tires and do some holiday shopping at Costco in one trip.

If you’re planning on taking a family car trip this holiday season, you might also think about getting the Goodyear 4 piece All Weather Car Mat Set for $4.00 off.  After the discount the set is just $14.79, which is a lot less than paying someone to get muddy footprints out of your car’s carpet.  Really, even if you aren’t taking a trip, snowy, slushy, gross winter weather can really do a number on the carpet and regular mats in your car, so these rubber ones are much better for the soggy weather.  Since you can get them in black, tan, or gray they should work with your car interior too.

This coupon book seems to be full of electronics like televisions and computers; 26 of the coupons are for something in this category.  There are coupons for televisions, computers, a Garmin GPS, printer, security cameras (2 coupons!), computer monitors, mobile phones, and Bluetooth speakers.  In particular, there seem to be quite a few computer coupons.  So, if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your own computer or surprising someone else with one as a gift, this might be a good time to check out the deals at Costco or  And if you’re looking for a new television to watch the big game on Thanksgiving, then you definitely might want to take a look at the 60″ Vizio that is $300.00 off with this new coupon book.  It’s got it all – HD, 3D, Wifi enabled, and 60″ of screen!

If you are planning your own holiday trip, there’s a great $10.00 off deal on a carry-on suitcase from Ricardo Beverly Hills.  The suitcase is one of those super lightweight, polycarbonate sort of hard sided spinner cases.  These are great because they are so light but still give you a little added protection with the plastic exterior.  And I love the spinner wheels because they are so much easier to deal with when you are rolling your suitcase through the airport and don’t put as much stress on your arms since you can push it along right at your side instead of dragging it behind you.  In any case, the really great part is that after the $10.00 off coupon, this suitcase is only $39.99.  At that price, even if you have to check it and it gets a bit beat up and scratched you won’t be looking at the baggage handlers with murder in your eyes.

There are two great laundry detergent coupons this month.  There’s one for $2.80 off the 120 load Kirkland Signature Environmentally Responsible Liquid Laundry Detergent.  I really like this stuff because my clothes were so clean and fresh but didn’t have an overly perfumey smell.  This same coupon is also good for $2.00 off the KS Dish Soap (135 oz).  But if you’re not a fan of the KS detergent for some reason, there’s also a coupon for All.  I really like the All Free & Clear detergent too.   This coupon gives you $3.00 off a 2 pack of 124 oz jugs of the Free & Clear detergent.  Much like the KS detergent this is not at all perfumed or at least not strong enough that you can smell it on your clothes, and for me it didn’t cause my overly picky skin a moment of problem.  This coupon is also good for the All Stainlifter (same discount, same sized two pack).   No matter which laundry detergent you choose, they are both excellent and do a good job of cleaning your clothes.

There are lots of good coupons, and there definitely seem to be more online-only deals, in this new book.  So be sure to take a good look at it before your next shopping trip.

Have to agree with Jerry Austin on this coupon book. It’s a rather sad set, as was the last one. I tend to hit Costco when I see “must have” coupons, because otherwise the rest of the stuff costs what it costs anyway, so there is no reason to make the trip.

Guess I won’t be going again till after Dec 15, at the earliest.

I love to look at the coupons but this coupon book is pitiful. It is Christmas you should have a better selection.

I haven’t gotten mine in the mail yet, but this one appears to be it if you want a sneak peek before some one gets theirs in the mail!
Personally, I go black Friday for the cook book!
