Costco UK Coupon Book: September 1 – 21, 2014

August 30th, 2014 · 2 Comments

The new Costco UK coupon book starts on Monday, September 1, and runs for the first three weeks of September, until the 21st.  This new coupon book has savings of £600.00 in it, which is a bit more than the previous coupon book.   There’s a wide variety of products with deals this time, with no back to school focus at all.  There are only a couple of things that I’m excited about in this book, it’s pretty so-so.  However, any savings is a good thing.

I’ve uploaded the new Costco UK Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer).  If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Also, while you’re there, ask them for a copy of the latest book if they didn’t hand you one when you walked in the store.  In the UK they print the coupons on both sides of the pages and without the codes and they just automatically deduct them after they ring up your items.  I love this method of couponing and I’m glad to see that it seems all Costco locations in the world are following suit.  I do still find it useful to have a copy so I know what to look for because I don’t always notice the signs that they’ve posted to let you know what has a coupon.  Of course, they often hand you a copy of the coupon book when you walk in the store or have them sitting there so you can grab one at you enter. I usually download a copy of the PDF to my phone before I go to the store so that I can easily reference it while shopping.  If you sign up to receive emails from, they will send out an email that lets you know that the new coupon book is available online, usually the weekend before the new book starts.  Since they now post the coupons on the Costco UK website, you can always download a copy of the latest coupon book from there; you can also find a link to it on the Warehouses Offers webpage.

There is a great deal on Michelin tyres this month, so you can get a new set after all of your summer driving.  If you buy two tyres you can get a Costco shopping voucher of £10, £30, or £50 depending on the size of tyres you buy.  And if you buy a full set of four tyres you can get a Costco shopping voucher of £30, £70, or £100 depending on the size of tyres.  So, if you’re in need of new tyres now might be the perfect time to get some installed at the Costco Tyre Centre.

If you’ve got little kids, at that age when they are just starting to read, then you have to pick up the Dr. Seuss book collection.  This month you can get £5.00 off a collection of twenty Dr. Seuss books, like “The Cat in the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham”.  After the discount the cost of the books is just £19.99 and these books are definitely worth £1.00 per book!  Kids have loved these books and used them to learn to read for years and years.  Since each of the Dr. Seuss books is £4.79 at Amazon UK, this collection at Costco is a total bargain.  How can you not get them?

Those are the two things that I really wanted to make sure to point out in this latest bunch of coupons.  The rest of them are pretty standard with lots of deals on everyday items but nothing super spectacular.  Happy shopping!

I posted too soon. About an hour after my post, I checked my mailbox and the new Costco coupon book was in there. Congratulations to Costco for producing it sooner than usual, but an emailed pdf file would suffice, save money and possibly reduce membership fees, and enable Costco to brag that they”ve gone paperless.

Once again here in the states we don’t have a new coupon book yet although the last sale was through on August 31, 2014. That book should be out several days before the previous one expires. I don’t understand the need for printing and mailing as all they need to do is email the pdf file and post it to the US website. Just the printing of all those color books adds a needless few dollars each year to the member fee.
