Costco US Coupon Book: November 24 – December 24, 2014

November 22nd, 2014 · 1 Comment

It’s all coupons, coupons, coupons this week!  The new Costco US coupon book starts on Monday, November 24, and runs until Christmas Eve.  In the coupon this month there’s a somewhat skimpy savings of $1,000.00 in warehouse savings and another $6,200.00 in online only deals.  There seem to be far fewer coupons in the new coupon book, but hopefully everyone will still be able to find some good deals. This month everything in the book, including the tire coupon, is an instant savings deal.  I’m having my guest poster, E from California, share her thoughts again on what’s tops on her list of great deals in this new coupon book.

I have uploaded the new Costco US Coupon Book PDF (or view it in the Google PDF viewer) , but you can also view the warehouse coupons on the website.  If you weren’t aware, Costco has updated their coupon policy for “streamlined savings”.  Basically, that means that you won’t have to clip coupons (if you ever needed to for your location anyway) again, but instead you can just show the cashier the coupon book or the smartphone app to redeem any offers marked with a blue arrow (which will make more sense when you see the coupon book).  You can get the app for either iPhone or Android in their respective app stores.  The only coupons that you must have the app or coupon book to redeem are the ones with the blue arrow, but the majority are instant savings deals lately.  For many, they didn’t have to clip coupons anyway, so this isn’t necessarily all that different.  The one big change is that Costco says that they will no longer have extra copies of the coupon book available at the warehouses.   If you didn’t get your book or never do, you should stop by Customer Service and make sure that they have all of your mailing information correct and that you have allowed them permission to send you things in the mail.  Or, just use the Costco smartphone app.  Lastly, you can also view them on the website.  Costco has recently started posting the coupons online and through the app before they actually start (like just a few days after the old ones expire), so that makes it easier and nicer for planning too.

  • Invicta Men’s Watch:  Looks like a good deal.  That’s a pretty hefty coupon off.  Don’t see many people wearing watches anymore if they have their cell.
  • Kirkland Signature Mac & Cheese:  Yes, I’m definitely getting this.  I think we got this once before and it was pretty good.  It’s real cheese though, not the Kraft macaroni kind.  So for some people, like my friend’s kids, they don’t like when it tastes too real.
  • Linksys Wireless Range Extender:  Good deal.  We bought something similar from Amazon and they were about $5 more expensive according to the BF.
  • Samsonite 3 Piece Luggage Set:  Good deal for Samsonite.  I’ve seen some of their other ones go for $100 each depending on the model.
  • Ghirardelli Squares:  Always a great deal when there’s a coupon.  But I do wish they would come out with different flavors.  I’ve seen the same 2 or 3 varieties throughout the year.
  • Pretzel Crisps:  Love these things.  So good on their own or with dip, Nutella, peanut butter, or lox.
  • Lucky Charms:  I would get this but I know I would just pick out the marshmallows and not eat the cereal part.
  • Puma Socks for Men and/or Women:  Finally, a coupon for some socks other than those thin low cut K-Bells.  I need something thicker and with more support for winter and long walks.
  • Skippy/Jif Peanut Butter:  Always a staple in the house for quick sandwiches and snacks.
  • Perrier Sparkling Water:  I don’t drink these because I don’t like the taste, but BF gets them constantly for his company’s customers.
  • Kirkland Signature Environmental Responsible Dish Detergent:  Love this.  When it was in the white packaging, it smelled great.  Now that it’s in the green packaging, still smells like oranges, but something’s different.  Maybe it’s just my imagination.  Nevertheless, works great and smells great.  I use it as hand soap also.
  • Finish Powerball Tabs:  When we used to use the dishwasher, these were our go-to tabs.  Easy to use and no complaints.  But wait for the Buy 1, Get 1 Free coupon.  That’s a way better deal that comes around once-a-year.
  • Vanity Fair Napkins:  The everyday napkins are an okay deal.  Napkins are always expensive when using day in day out.
  • POM Juice:  We always pick one up, especially when there’s a coupon.  I don’t particularly like the tartness, but BF does.
  • Neutrogena Makeup Towelettes:  I wonder if the Kirkland ones are the same as these, because those have a heavy smell that I can’t stand.  Unless they’re the Ponds dupe.  Too bad they don’t sell the Neutrogena liquid makeup remover.  I use that with cotton balls/pads.  If only they would put that pack of 900ct cotton pads on sale, then I’d be set.
  • Microlife Blood Pressure Monitor:  I’m definitely checking this out because we need one for the house.  I haven’t seen a coupon for a blood pressure monitor in so long, maybe a year.  They used to have them out regularly, like the tires.
  • Emergen-C and Airborne:  I hate drinking these even though I probably need the immune support.  They just taste awful to me, no matter what flavor I try.  I don’t see Costco carrying the Airborne gummies anymore.  They were around for a couple months.  If Emergen-C or Airborne came out with gummies, I’d get that instead.
  • Clear Care:  I always stock up on this when there’s a coupon.  I wish there wasn’t a limit of 2, because for 2 people, we tend to use it up before another coupon comes out for it.  One change they made that’s good is the cap.  Instead of a white screw cap that doesn’t always screw tightly, they’ve now changed it to a red flip-top cap.
  • Dura Cabinet Garage Storage System ( only):  Looks like a great deal.  If we had room and were committed to putting it in 1 spot, we’d get this.
